    There's been a lot of discussion recently about LED replacement bulbs. Much of that discussion has attended member's conversion of 2014-2017 Tundras to 2018 LED headlights...the headlights are LED but the turn signal bulbs are still incandescent. Many have made the conversion, some of us are still trying to figure out the best plan.

    If you consider the current signals to be visible enough, then you probably don't need to replace them with LEDs. LEDs in turn signals, however, do modernize the appearance of your turn signals, and will increase the visibility of your turn signals substantially. Because the LEDs have significantly less resistance than the stock incandescent bulbs, the conversion of all signal bulbs front and rear to LEDs will likely require the addition of resistors to replace that resistance to avoid "hyperflash" (like when you have a bulb burned out).

    If you pick the right LED, and you do only the fronts, you can get by without adding resistors. There is no way I would replace only one bulb with an LED...typically you can only buy LEDs in pairs on Amazon anyway.
