So the old girl is getting a new Power steering pump, had one replaced a few weeks ago and apparently i got unlucky with a crap one that failed right off the hop, so Toyota is warranting the part, and while they are in there, im having them replace the idler pulley, tensioner, and my brand new 270 amp alternator!

Next week i hope to start the 3" leafs so be ready for updates on that

I like what you've done, if I could just get my wife to say that the bumpers on our DC look like tin foil and I should get new bumpers, I'd say yeah and show her your bumpers, they do look good.

Hey Bruce! I know Alex @osidepunker runs Cooper STT’s. What’s the difference with the KO2’s? Better ride? Quieter? Better handling? Lookin at these too, any insight would be great to know!

I've run 'em too Monet. I wore out a set and never had a flat. The traction is better than a KO2, balances better, lighter weight I think, less expensive and runs closer to a true size.

Nice! Good to know, esp when one drops lots of coin for tires, gotta make sure they’ll hold up!

Look for 'em on sale, happens quite frequently. I like Discount Tires Online, price match, certs available, free delivery (super fast too) and no tax. And, warranty is honored at America's tire 'cause it's the same company.
Last time I bought tires I ordered through them, didn't pay tax and the tries came from nearby me here in Ca.

Yeah, the vids are cool huh!

Ok so here is the skinny on the tires...

I loved my BFG's but, they have limits and I found them quickly...

I was running out of traction in braking and acceleration. They are not true to size, my 37's were actually 36.2

They help up well to the abuse, but I'm soooo much happier with the STT pro's, they have better traction in all aspects, much more aggressive tread, and as far as sound, my truck is pretty loud as you know, so I didn't notice much difference, they may be slightly louder on a quiet truck, but I have a race exhaust so sound to me isn't really an issue.

My advice, skip the BFG's and get the coopers. Worth every penny IMO

Awesome! Thanks! I'll be on the lookout for some new year's sales, hopefully pull the trigger on these soon.

And I fully was expecting you to be as articulate as Kevin was on the BFG's

I need that steering wheel in my life Bruce! Can't stand our 2nd gen steering wheels or interior that is compared to 3rd gens LOL. Do you know if it will work on the 2nd gen with all the controls working?
