My friend’s wife caught something with the mirror on his truck. It left a little paint and scuff marks on it. Any ideas how to get the paint off?

Try a clay bar, lube surface well. Over the shelf usually does the job. Medium duty might be too much.

Maybe try with Mark suggested or go low tech and try a little peanut butter.
