Bought my truck last year. Wife bought me a Bauer DA polisher last year for my birthday ($120 or so) and I ordered some clay bars, Griots Correcting Cream and best of show wax. Have been wanting to do a full paint correction just haven’t had the time to commit a full day to it. Finally got around to it yesterday and am very happy with the results! Took me about 5 hours total.

Thanks guys! I am very happy with the results. It was very tedious but overall a lot easier then I expected. After doing some research I realized a DA polisher is not as scary as I thought lol

Great work. Nothing to scared of from a DA especially when using the correct pads and products. I would recommend switching from a wax to a sealant especially if you are having a hard time finding the time to maintain the truck. It will protect all that work 3-4 times longer then a wax which typically starts to fail in a months time. Less depending on the environment.

Thank you. I did purchase Griots 1 step sealant but I didn’t know if it would be better than a wax finish because The sealant has a minor abrasion. Didn’t want to overkill the cut.

99.99 at HF. Can’t comment on longevity yet but it works great.
