That's not too far off MSRP, right? Maybe $1k off? What state?

That's what I did, except I got quotes from about 20 dealerships and told them they would have to earn my business. I had requested quotes from closer to 30, but several didn't even reply. It came down to three who were serious, and one who was REALLY serious. I got it for about $9k under MSRP. One of the last three dealers told me that the price I paid was less than their price to get the vehicle. They told me to jump on that price, even though it wasn't from them. The dealership I got it from makes their money from volume, so they are less concerned about the selling price.

Lunar looks great and sounds like a deal on a 2021.

Was wondering about the $9k off. Bakershacks’s sig says 1794.

I would stay away from Burien Toyota.

Doxon Toyota is much better and has a bigger selection. Toyota of Bellevue (Michael's) has a good selection also. I've bought cars from both but avoid Burien Toyota. I went there and we negotiated and no deal ... Few days later, they called me back and gave me a reasonable deal over the phone for the same car ... I went there the same day and when I got there they said no deal and increased the price by $1500. Bunch of cheats ... Later I read bunch of bad reviews about them. I should have researched first.
The next day after my last visit, I bought a better truck with more option from Doxon for less money. I guess I was lucky they cheated on me.:D

I have been looking at Tundras for about 2 years now, daily lurker on this forum. I am finally about ready to pull the trigger so I have started reaching out to a few local dealers Renton Toyota and Lakecity Toyota. Both have Lunar Crew cabs that appear to be stock with no dealer add ons and they are both asking around $10-$12K over MSRP. I havent made up my mind if I am willing to pay to pay MSRP or not, but I am certainly not willing to pay a penny more, I will wait it out if need be or fly somewhere and drive back.

Another Lunar Rock in WA! Welcome. I'm down on the south end of I-5.
I paid right at MSRP, but with no add-ons (I will put my own on, thank you very much). It was also the first quote I got that wasn't $5k to $10k over sticker or that wasn't already sold before I even asked.

I cant believe they get away with charging these prices and I cant believe yall actually pay them. To each their own, but try as I might I fail to see the value. TRD trucks are probably the most plagiarized version of trim ever and for the significant mark up spent you could equip an SR5 better yourself. Why do yall love these things so much?

Your experience is not unusual. Most dealers know that the Pro's are in high demand. They sell them as fast as they get them, and even if they sit on the lot a few days, they attract buyers onto the lot who get sticker shock after they see the Pro, and then elect for another build that costs less. I hear that there are tons of trucks on the lots in Texas. You might try browsing Texas dealerships. They will gladly sell you a truck and ship it to you.

Someone else was paying for mine, so I picked out the pro. Best resale, no need to take the time and effort to modify it to get the look and upgrades I'd want. I wanted a perfect truck right off the lot, and I wanted the lunar rock color because I think it's stunning. Also, no chrome :D

But yeah, it was a big number, and if I was paying I probably wouldn't have been able to swallow the ridiculous "market adjustment" but used pros are hard to find, so new made the most sense in the end.

Untamed motors on utube got a 2021 pro for 1500 off msrp. He lives in WA but went to ND to grab it. When you take in account transport/fuel cost and your time it’s pretty much msrp. Also, would suggest checking out his channel. The guy has a new vehicle every week. It’s insane. Not sure how he does it without losing his shirt to Reg. fees.
