This code has been intermittent since I got the truck a year and a half ago. Within the last month or so it is throwing a CEL every time I drive it now. I have an ultragauge so I'm able to clear the CEL and check the codes and all, but is there anyway to cure this once and for all? I get tired every time I drive it to have to clear the engine light. I've read it could be gas leak from exhaust, manifold, etc. Any surefire things I need to check before I start crawling around underneath it
    Thanks in advance

Those are codes related to the O2 sensors and Catalaytic converter.

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
If the truck is not running poorly, I would guess that the 02 sensor has gone bad. Also I have seen this come up when a vehicle burns too much oil, it gets carbon build-up on the 02 sensor.

    Or

I mean, it could just be that the catalytic converter is going out. How many miles are on the truck?

Sorry I'm just getting back on here.
    It burns very little oil.
It's got just over 160k on it. Its just annoying now every time I drive I have to clear the CEL. Hasn't affected performance yet

x2 on the O2 sensors. I replaced my O2 sensors when I had that code and never saw it again. My next option was the catalytic converters = much more $$

I had the same problem. I discovered a few pinhole leaks and plugged them up with high temp putty and it fixed the problem.
