My tundra check engine light came on and my idle was rough yesterday. I checked for a code and found P0301. After examining the engine I found the wires to the fuel injectors chewed up by a squirrel, specifically the injector for cylinder number one was cut. I replaced the fuel injector wiring harness for that side of the engine and cleared the code. After a few second it came up again. I then did the usual diagnostics, checked plug and coil. They looked fine but just in case I swapped them with cylinder #3. Code still came up ... I then swapped the fuel injectors on cylinder #1 and #3, still nothing. I disconnected the battery and let it sit for one hour hoping to reset the computer.....nothing, engine light is still flashing and the idle is still bad in the 1k to 2k rpm range.

Any thoughts and ideas would be much appreciated.
