I need to order a gallon. I have time though so I'll look for sales. I cant wait for warmer weather. Unfortunately that is 4 or 5 months away. I plan to do a full polish come spring time. Last year I used megs ultimate polish but I have built up a few products to have another go this spring. If I get the paint close to perfect I'll coat with ceramic. If not I'll be using hydro2+beadmaker and or powerlock

ok so I played a little hooky this afternoon and gave the ole gal a good bath and then dried. wasn't long before my UPS guy pulls up with my order of Chemical Guys microfiber soap and the Rag Company Eagle 500 edgeless towels. perfect timing to apply Bead Maker!

this was my first go using Bead Maker and from what I have seen and read, they said to soak it when applying the first time. so, I soaked it. then came the Eagle 500 towels. man these things are pretty freaking good! much better than what I had been using. it took all four towels to do the entire truck including the tonneau cover I have.

first reaction? whoooooaaaa nelly this stuff is slick. you can easily tell where you have it applied and where you don't. even did the glass and door jambs. so after a couple of hours I am beat. I need longer arms for the windshield, tonneau and top of the truck. overall I like it! wasn't hard to apply and I can already see a difference. even the wife said she could tell how great it looks. can't wait to see it tomorrow out in the daylight.

My roof is a bitch to do. It sits right at 7 foot and i have to use a ladder, hard to get water spots off and rub in the Bead. Wish i can just sit the truck on its side and go at it!

when you add a hard tonneau cover there is no standing in the bed anymore. well I guess I could if I removed it but I wasn't about to pull that thing off being the only one home. it's 70lbs but bulky. don't get me wrong I love it but it can be a pain for detailing.

for drying the roof I just grab the step ladder and the leaf blower ... lol.

This works great for cleaning the roof, tonneau cover, and windshield.

@War Machine how often should I reapply Hydro2 and Bead Maker?

Hydro2 maybe every three to six months. I reapply Beadmaker at least once a month, but you can likely go longer. I have a hard time letting things live out their lifespan on my truck. I enjoy shining it up too much.

Ive been using meguiars all season tire dressing for a while now. It works great on tires, wheel wells, and trim. Not terribly expensive, about $32 a gallon.

Im the same way. I use Meguiars Synthetic X-press spray wax as a drying agent every time I wash my truck. Probably get some Beadmaker when I run out of that.

Man, I know Meguair’s makes great stuff. I pretty much skipped over their line when I started getting into detailing. From everything I’ve read, and from my limited use, you really can’t go wrong with their stuff.

Meguiar's stuff is good for those who don't want to spend money in detailing products but for detailing enthusiast that want more, better more expensive options exist. I am taking nothing away from Meguiar's products, they are really good BUT if you're willing to spend more money, other options will give you more satisfaction.

**I am a chemical guys and adams product guru, now P&S is going to be added to my list**

To be honest, Beadmaker is the only P&S product that stands out so far. I’ve tried their soap and tire shine. Soap was really underwhelming, and the tire shine was terrible.

Their detail spray is good, but nothing better than anything else. The price is decent though.

I am curious to see the durability of the Bead Maker. Thus far (even today for that matter) I am blown away.

I think the longest I’ve gone without reapplying is 3-4 weeks, so I’m not positive yet.
