Let me know what your thoughts are on the differences.

For those who have already, is there a noticeable difference between 87 and 91/93 when naturally aspirated?

The difference in driving with 87 (no tow/haul pressed) and just cruising then pressing the tow/haul button leaving the throttle position alone there is a noticeable difference

Also I know a big flex fuel update is in the works for next year but Curious if there is any existing benefit to e10-e30 or even e85 with the current tunes released?

You're saying it's that big of a difference?

I'm also flex fuel, so can't wait until it's a viable increase in power!

What are the ACTUAL peak HP / TORQUE increase vs stock N/A not including gear lock gains down low. Do we have a 2.0 tune Dyno chart? Or is it safe to assume its the same as the prior tunes numbers?

When your buddy asks "whats your tune make on the dyno" :benchpress: my answer "no clue but shifts like butter":crapstorm:

I know numbers are not everything with the transmission tuning and other benefits, but I would love some verified bragging rights... Even if its a lowly n/a Sequioa!

Numbers from a dyno aren't really bragging rights unless you have a baseline beforehand. I'm sure you know, that dynos can give different numbers based on day, time, temp, humidity, etc.

When your friend ask what the numbers are, just tell him "all of them."

It's probably safe to suppose that each tune is going to be relative to each truck. The ones posted are probably a safe estimate.

I just want to make sure because we have the same setup. Am I seeing 17-19mpg cruising at 75mph? Is this real life? Also is that a 87 octane tune?

In looking forward to seeing more than 14mpg on my stock sized tires... if I can see those numbers on 35s, I’ll have those in no time

Real life? I hope so... I'd hate to think I was dreaming all of this!

This is flat highway with me holding the pedal steady. But yes, 17-19 at 75 mph. And I am using the 93 octane tune.

Before the new transmission update, I hand calculated an entire nonstop highway trip single on a single tank of gas and got 16 mpg. I haven't had the chance to hand calculate the new update, but I plan to.

When I go up grades and keep the speed from falling, it will register 10-12 mpg.

This is driving the speed limit and conservatively! I don't care what happens to my mpg after 75 mph, because I just don't drive to work that way or take trips that way.

I posted this before, but here it is again. This was before the latest transmission update. One tank of gas, all highway and 70-75 mph. Not to shabby.

Is your truck NA or SC? I assume you have the tiny fuel tank, not the 38 gallon one lol

Yes, I have the 26 gallon tank. I dont have a super charger. I wish I did though!

And my tank isn't tiny... It just looks small because of how large my truck is!

Just checking because i got 350 miles towing and getting 9-10 mpg :)

I’m usually somewhere between 400 & 500 miles per tank today. I’d love to see that be 500+ consistently

So what are people getting on 99% city (on a 26 gallon tank) I am lucky to get 240 miles (10.5 mpg) on my Bully Dog premium tune.

When I'm towing my camper I'm constantly wishing I had that 38 gallon tank. That's one test I haven't put my truck through yet with this tune. I will eventually though.

I get 13.5mpg on a good day with a mix of city and highway. That's 93 octane with a blower on 35s. Idk if it necessarily got worse, but it certainly hasn't gone up with the OVT.

Someone should make a straight forward guide on how to actually flash. Apparently "upgrading" to the new flash manager has resulted in nothing working at all and now going through the endless loop of random instructions and download links and p5flash and pcmflash and whatever else not doing anything at all. Good thing I already have a OVT installed since I've spent an hour installing and uninstalling and downloading everything possible and can't get the v1.3 to open anything beyond the normal menu for Tacomas. I had an easier time getting a $30 chinese accelerometer with no instructions to talk to my laptop earlier today lol

A little of this and a little of that. Its pretty run of the mill.
    If you ask for instructions:

    Please read the blog post.

But the blog post says, please uninstall prior flasher and then install new flasher

    End of instructions. Lol.

Like do I click install all software? Do I click update? Do I click install drivers? Why is pcm/p5 seem to randomly gray out? Why does the instructions link to a pdf with a file to p5 that seems to disappear the instant I run it? Do I need the Tactrix drivers? Is that not the drivers the program itself can install? I don't understand :boom: maybe best to call it a night
