    I've seen this too.

Everyone, just check your To: field in your email. Nothing worse than discovering you've been talking to yourself the entire time.

Anytime I press the tow button, it engages gear lock. I've only tried it while driving down the hwy, but it will lock into 6th gear. It won't lock the torque converter completely. If I step hard on the throttle, I feel the TC unlock. But it will stay in 6th. Not sure if this was intended, but it is what happens with my truck.

Now when it's in s mode and I press the tow button, my TC will stay locked.

I just drove an hour testing it in both D and S mode.

@OVTune Were you able to get your hands on the Sequoia ecu file? If so I'll feel assured know the tune is coming soon.

If not, should I just cancel the order and refund until my ecu is supported?

    Thanks in advance

That was my understanding as well and all worked properly it seemed for the first 3 tunes/revision's. However after the last revision(8/23/2019) tow/haul does not shift right. it shifts up nicely, but does not want to shift down which sucks in the hilly river valley I live in :) causes me to have to mash the throttle listening to the boost start to come on as the motor lugs and the trans refuses to shift down. Hence the reason I either tow now in regular drive mode or tow/haul+S pretending to drive a manual. I'm sure it will get sorted, and as you mentioned this stuff is all still in development.

@OVTune can you check order 5221 I keep posting that I am waiting but maybe your waiting on something from me. I emailed you my ecu id info last month and no base tune yet. I replied back to your email no mods so i assumed all this time I was waiting for you.

Is it possible to put a bluetooth adapter on our obd2 plug so I can run an app showing live tempatures off my phone? I know they sell bluetooth obd2 plugs, I'd rather just buy a adapter that makes this one wireless since I know it's a good product.

Nick, I believe you should have no problem with an bluetooth obd adapter but it might depend on what temps your looking for.

Transmission temp would be at the top of my list. I have the tactix obd2. I was wondering if there was a way to put a bluetooth adapter on the existing taxtix just as a send and reciever.

At the time of my supercharger install I had my first gen Phoenix android head unit installed, it needed to be connected to my obd2 dock and after installation of supercharger I ended up installing a 3 to1 adapter for the obd2. I have since installed the 2nd gen Phoenix and connection to the obd2 is not needed. When I get time I might install a Torque Pro adapter because the Bully Dog is very hard to read underway. https://www.tundras.com/threads/diy-supercharger-install-2016-5-7-ffv.26402/page-3#post-649897

@OVTune Would it be a big deal to put 87 in a truck with the 91 octane tune? Say you need gas and for whatever reason all that's available is 87.

If you like engine knock, then it wouldn't be a big deal.

Thanks, but unless you were involved with writing the code and you actually know how well the programming can compensate for the lower octane, that's not really helpful.

Go slow and not romp the throttle and you'd be safe until the proper fuel octane is acquired...just be smart if you have to use 87...this is in reference to S/C'd 5.7s tho...so sorry, no help

I have the file for one of the 3, will have second file hopefully tomorrow.
Surprisingly sequoia files are much harder to obtain that tundra. Not impossible just way more time consuming. I might have to just order a bunch of different year sequoia ecus

Probably not a whole lot of tuning going on in the Sequoia market.

Mat, my truck is one of your last ECU's. Is the transmission portion giving you trouble? When you send this coming update, I'm going to thoroughly test it and try and give better details in how it's acting, before I send any files or description back to you. It seems like it takes a week or two before I notice exactly what it's doing.

Just a perspective, but I would think that logs are going to be the most valuable feedback, even if you can't describe what you "feel". It's just too subjective, logs are data, not a sensation. Even if you can't include dialog. I've sent in logs that I've described as just random driving around with little to no description. If they aren't relevant, Mat can delete them. The effort for me to collect them is moot.

Yes, but the reason I'm going to wait before sending logs is not for the logs themselves, but a complete description of transmission activity. A few drives around the block isn't enough time to catch little transmission behaviors.

As far as the logs themselves, I still send in a driving around town log, wot in D, wot with gear lock and this last time I sent one driving in rush hour. He tweaks things every time, so I assume what I'm sending is valuable.

Mat thanks for emailing me this weekend I just resent you the ECU info with the new Pflash version you sent over and its the exact same info as the old one had. Hopefully that doesn't hinder my tunes progress?

    Wil do

Also for everyone, when you send us something, if you continually reply to your ticket before we respond, your previous messages get buried.

Like yours, we never saw the system ID because the after replies buried it.

For everyone, it goes much smoother if you guys only send something once. Just because we haven't replied doesn't mean we didn't see it.
