    Matt, I sent you my system code and you sent me the reg file with in a few days. Once I got my ECU ID, I replied directly to your email sending you the required info and never got a response. That was around the end of last month. Last Friday I sent the info again in a new email to the support zendesk address, but only recieved the automated response of it being received. Not rushing you or getting impatient, I just wanted to make sure I'm not doing something wrong or having email issues.

    @OVTune I'd like an update on my tune. Last update I had was that my ECU was a booger and I understand there are hiccups. It's been nearly 2 months (8/19/2019) since I paid $572.49 and I'm still excitedly waiting. I've sent multiple emails on zendesk and I've sent private message through this forum. I believe in what you're doing and if it's anything like the tacoma guys I know I'll be in love with it. I'd gladly wait as long as necessary, but being in the dark is hard and doesn't meet my expectations as a customer. I'd just like to know what's going on and get my tune so I can have some freaking fun! Please let me know. Order 5042, ECU 0CL11

    I'm working on everything as fast as I can guys I promise.

    We will get to everyone's tickets as soon as possible. I appreciate everyone's patience, working on features and applying code to new ECUs + everything else going on makes things a little slower than usual

    These features and code changes are very beneficial to make the absolute best calibration these engines will ever get. Pretty much around the clock developing and testing code.

    Even though our new flex fuel fuel patch won't release for the next two months or so I can tell you it works flawlessly on our test truck. We just have to grind out all test and debugging first.

    Right now we are a bit slow, yes, because support+ development is a time consuming task. But there is no doubt you will never find another "tune" or calibration that goes to the level we are going to.

    Fully understood Mat! That flex fuel feature really peaked my interest being I have a flex fuel truck and found a few local places with e85 pumps. On previous Ford platforms I had tuned you either had the choice of a gas(87,91,93) or e85 tune that required reflash to swap fuels. Having a tune that transitions on its own is a pretty sweet deal and I'm sure takes loads of time and testing to iron out before releasing. Keep up the great work man! I truly apprecitate how you provide insight on the specifics on each feature. That makes the work sell its self in my opinion.

    Our ignition logic is on the first post of this thread now, along with our fueling logic.
    Both are fully functional in our test truck. :)

    quoting myself,
    code works amazing, however I need to update OP, as ignition mapping has been changed!. The stock ECU works opposite of this where ignition has a reduction rate with increases in ethanol (on top end).

    no worries to all this will all be in a formal release soon

    corrected

    9 tables at 10x10 with increase increase per ethanol as shown.

    What is your goal in performance with this vs traditional fuel?

    Increasing possible power through ethanol. E85 is magical fuel, like cheap race gas. So increasing ignition can significantly increase torque.

    through this calculation (snipped from code..just an example)
    IG+FF
    IG+FF+2D
    IG+FF+2D r28 + r24
    R24 to R10
    IG2 + FF to R28
    R28 to R24
    R24 +VVT IG T TO R10
    IG2+FF+VVTIGT-KNIGN TO R11
    IG2+FF BR <= B+FF+2D
    IG2+FF BR <= B+ FF
    = IGN

    Since installing the base tune, my truck won't shift at light throttle below like 2000 rpm. Does everyone's do that? It does it in S mode and D, normal and tow/haul. If I'm going like 30 mph it will just sit around 1900rpm and it won't shift up unless I either let off the gas completely or accelerate harder. It's really annoying for the truck to be revving that high when just putting around town or driving through my neighborhood.

    A little of this and a little of that. Its pretty run of the mill.
    Mine does that as well. I mentioned it to @OVTune and he said they had a tune for 3rd gen's that fixes that issue. I've sent him some logs but haven't heard back yet. I'm hoping my next tune fixes this issue.

    Heading out of town with the Travel Trailer Thursday. :fingerscrossed: really hoping for base tune to test on. Does GL work with the initial base tune? If I get it on time.... :deadhorse: anything I can do to help Matt? :spending:? Maybe not post so he can get back to work :pccoffee:

    @OVTune thanks for the updates Mat! Any word on the Sequoia ECUs? Last email from you hinted maybe you had them just need to modify with base tunes...

    I’ve done it before. Just take your tuning laptop, it’s all of 90 seconds to flash to a different tune.

    yeah I bought a dedicated 12" laptop that I'll keep in the truck. My plan is to run a tune for 91 fuel and if for some reason I need to fill up with 87 I can just do a quick flash and throw an 87 tune on.

    Theres no way I'll remember to hit that tow haul button. I cant even remember to turn off traction control haha
