So now you are tasking me with work just to prove that what you said was right??? If the only thing data logging is going to accomplish is to prove that 4hi throttle limits cant be adjusted, then I'll just skip the data log and accept that they cant be adjusted.

Just because I can type on my phone does not mean that im in a position to drive my truck at the moment

He's potentially costing you money by the words he is saying as folks are vocal here about not wanting to purchase your product. Seems like a pretty easy case to win.

And while I'm not a practicing attorney, I do have a great working knowledge of CFR (Federal) and International Law.

 

I want datalogs and all relevant information of how exactly you came to the conclusion your tune is broke.
how you came to the conclusion your truck is limited in 4High and how we cannot fix it. (I never said we can't, I asked for data and I have the messages here to back it up).
I will absolutely be calling my attorney this afternoon, she does wonders with this type of stuff.

There is no potential, There are comments here documenting that people are walking away from us specifically because of HIS statements.

Well what I meant, is that you have a potential to win the case with a proper attorney (which appears that you have one). Also, it appears as though his misleading information is now causing additional workload for you, as individuals are saying that their tune doesn't work as it should since he is passing out false information.

 

I wont be purchasing your product due to how you present yourself.
You can easily take the back and forth offline or via PM..

but no.. bickering back and forth to show who is right or wrong is egotistic.

Its YOUR business, Present yourself better.

Even if the customer is in the wrong.. trying to prove he is wrong in front of everyone doesn't help your case.

Don’t bother. Save them for your libel defense. Since truth is a defense for libel, I believe you actually have a strong case to defend any case brought against you. Because it doesn’t matter what happens on Mat’s truck in 4hi. What matters is what the tune you received has.

Since we’re talking legal action, maybe a mass action could be formed here from the silent majority.

 

It's not even speaking his mind, it's technically trying to prove that his product works as it should against a slanderous and libelous individual. Ultimately, when someone is going around speaking lies about your livelihood, you should have a right to defend against that. In addition, if the words (either written or verbal) cause you to lose some of that livelihood, you can get compensatory damages awarded to you.

What was the words previously? 10,000 Tacomas tuned...5 Million dollars? Hmm, sounds like the potential for loss, from someone so adamant in smearing someones name and reputation through the muck and the mud does have a bad sound to it.

You know what sounds even better? The judgment for a company that makes 5 million dollars by tuning 10,000 Tacomas.

(I know Mat stated those numbers were a little off.)

No, not all customers are right, not even close. I've fired customers because they were too stupid to even breathe. I can only pray the gene pool dried up for them.

 

Don't argue, it's obvious who drank the koolaide and who hasn't. After watching this thread and how OVtune responds, screw doing any form of business with him.

we are almost through it, and I think we can get everyone finished up by the end of the week! (depending on how complex the update you require is)

0CM51 - SUPERCHARGED Trucks, we have a big update, corrects several things, that we will email out. (Gearlock / Directshift is already done on that ecu).


I would also like to apologize for the recent forum behavior. Things should never have to come to this, and it's unfair to our loyal and patient customers to have to see or deal with this, or delays resulting from it.
I know businesses are suppose to always remain professional, and we try our best. This can be especially difficult with customers who complain, badger, or post things that seem to be just to cause more issues, not solve anything, over the course of several months.


Your patience is sincerely appreciated while we finish this, there is only about 20 tickets left (not ECUs, just tickets). Yes we had some delays, yes covid affected us, affected my developer (he actually contracted it), and we had our primary development station crash, losing files. Thank God a helpful member here recovered things for us. I know some are unhappy because of the delays or spotty communication. We will do what we can to make you a happy user of our product.

We have now released updates with Gearlock and Directshift to everyone with N/A tunes (excluding one 2018 ECU, 0CN61, 0CN21, 0CM51 NA that requires some updates).

Last steps are finalizing and updating all remaining SC tunes that need a bit of additional custom work, and releasing for 0CN61.

This past weekend I had it in 4HI and at one point I needed to move quickly and floored it with no limits. Now 4LO is another story

Regarding 4high limits, we are investigating this. We are also investigating the claim that HPTuners has access to such tables. So far I have checked multiple ECUs, none of which have such tables. Since it was used as a direct comparison to our product.
