looking to modify my 2005 with the homelink/compass temp console.
I can buy the correct console, but there is a harness to buy to make it work.
    Anyone done this?

Went to my local pick and pull found a gntx-453 for $3.30. Make sure you bring your reading glasses as the number was hard to see!

Confirmed auto dim works as well as compass. Haven’t messed with the home link yet. I’d love to incorporate the temp feature.

I ended up shopping at EBay. Found a very nice mirror with home link,
    Compass, and temperature readout.
Cals mirrors on EBay. I have bought 2 different mirrors
from him. I bought one for my Dads 2006 DC.
I am very happy with the purchase
