I’m looking for a new outside holster, LH. One that has a safety (l2 or above) and won’t poke my side when in a vehicle.

    Suggestions, please.

I’m partial to concealment express, not sure what they have for outside... but inside carry have been quality.

In winter I throw on a hoodie depending on what I am carrying.

I am a little confused by your comment. I did mean Outside waist band, just to clarify (not just outside in the weather). They have a few options if you like kydex... https://www.concealmentexpress.com/collections/owb-kydex-holsters

I mean I carry concealed most times, but depending what I am carrying- I’ll place it on the outside and throw a hoodie in to cover it (yes, I know it’s concealed) but it’s not IWB.

What are you carrying? For OWB I kinda like leather with a button/strap. Plenty of retention and way more comfortable than kydex.

I’ve got a Tucker Gunleather HF1 for my 4” 1911. I bought the holster to carry my sidearm at the ranch, but it holds the gun high enough and tight enough so that it’s concealed when wearing a jacket. Guess it would depend on how long the hoodie/fleece is in your case ...
