Anyone have recommendations? Maybe two I can wall mount that are also friendly with Sonos? (Current indoor speaker system)
Wireless preferred. Not worth the hassle to run wire all over for it

Where are you putting them? Outdoor means different things. Is this under a patio cover or exposed to the elements?

I know you said you don’t want to run wires but I use a couple of outdoor Yamaha speakers wired to a Sonos amp that lives indoors in my media rack and it’s been going for years.

not hard to run some speaker wire through the attic to the eaves and as it isn’t electrical wire you don’t have to worry about electrical codes or any of that (as long as you don’t share conduit with power)

If you’re dead set on not running wires I really can’t see doing more than just a portable Bluetooth speaker out there.

I have had these installed outside 24/7 coming up on eight years this summer.

They hook up Bluetooth to your phone and all the controls are done via the device.

They fill my 1/2 acre backyard wonderfully.

The driving unit provides enough power that I was able to jump two small 50w speakers off of it which I have installed near the pool.

The only downside from having speakers mounted on the house I have come to find is they tend to resonate within the home. If I were to do it again I would choose outdoor speakers that were maybe mounted on my deck posts or those boulder-style ones simply to keep the “thump” off of the house.

Yea I mounted mine on the patio cover away from the house. I also ran speaker wire and used passive speakers

If you don’t have an outlet nearby for those powered speakers it’s a huge hassle to run electric outdoors. A lot easier to run speaker wire to an amp inside

I have switched flood lights in the back yard. I swapped out that corner for a GFI outlet and it was very convenient. I can see the hassle if power is unavailable
