Today while driving on the freeway in our 2021 Highlander I hit something in the road. Still do not know what it was but moments later my tire was flat. I knew what was up so immediately made it off the freeway to a safe location. Now the big debate is to replace one tire( which I can’t seem to find a match of). Or to replace all 4. The kicker is that the other tires only have 5000 miles on them. So naturally I’m leaning towards just buying one but am a little ocd about it being a different brand/tire. What are y’all’s thoughts on this?

What brand/size of tire are you looking for? Have you checked online also? I've ordered single tires from tirerack.com and got them shipped to my door rather quickly.

Having a mismatched tire on a new vehicle would bug me, but if $ is a concern, you might just have to deal with it. You might be able to get something for the three remaining OEM tires if you go the full replacement route.

With that miles on the others I’d add one and swap all 4 when the time comes.

Yeah I hadn’t thought of getting money for the other 3. Going to call discount in the morning. Money not really a concern, just more of a debate on whether or not to go all in on 4 or stick with just one.

Just replace the 1 5k miles isn’t anything. 15k then maybe. I’ve done this with my wife’s Audi Q7 that had run flats and had a huge iron piece of a fence post wedge into the middle of the tire. No problems with wear or anything. Just get a similar style tire.

You might try here. I bought a same size spare when I went bigger with Toyo AT3s. It’s a AT2 but works for a spare and they rate the wear.

Maybe they will have a match

Can get one by 2/22 with free shipping. I see you're in Buckeye, so I just used a generic Buckeye zipcode.

I used to buy tires at costco, now I generally use tire rack. Very convenient and great price. Especially when buying one - you aren't getting any buy 4 discounts on that.

Not sure if your truck has the full spare tire. Just use that ( likely same as your other tires )
and get a different one as new spare.

Found what blew my tire the other day. I went out to look at the car this morning and saw this bolt stuck in the fender well. Glad I found it as it could have fallen out and ruined my new tire. Any idea what this is from ?

Does your vehicle have a matching spare (at least tire brand and size) if it does I would have them swap that tire over and put the mis match on spare. Generally you don't want a miss match unless its two either front or rear due to different handling characteristics.
