Hmm, temps seem to be warming up. Might need to come up with Plan B for Sunday.

It looks like solid rain in the mountains now. Grrr... the mountain passes are no fun without snow.

Maybe a run west to the Olympic Peninsula...get a run on an ocean beach and then down and around Olympia. Cleaned out the truck and filled the tank...just need to pick my route

The beach sounds like a good time.
A little rain and mid 40's over here. We had a big windstorm move through early this morning, snow is melting quick.

Think I’ve figured it out. Going to grab the first ferry out of Edmonds and work my way around the pen counterclockwise. Got a route mapped out that should keep me off the major highways

Thought I'd share one of the best First Aid kits on the market, from dad for Xmas.

Despite the nonsense this year, it ended pretty good. Got my first buck(mule deer) in November and we welcomed our baby boy Henry Jack on 12/21. Pretty damn cool.

Ugh...supposed to take this coming week off, but have to go into the office for a meeting at 9am (Zoom won’t work from our house with our shitty internet). And I’ll have to check in each day the rest of the week, but at least that can just be through email. Hope to hit the mountain at least once...

@Green Thunder Stu - your cousin's chocolate is some good shit. My daughter is afraid to eat it because it's so pretty...my wife is more concerned with the flavor and texture and so far it has passed her extremely picky palate. I think the story of me driving to Seattle and having to go to someone's townhouse to even pick it up added bonus points to the to story.

Seriously, though, thanks for the lead. I'll be looking forward to my next trip north to check out what they do next.

That's awesome...I'm stoked you guys loved it as much as we do. My family are foodies and wine geeks so our holiday meals are always a fun time to try new things. Kevin made chocolates one year and just went gonzo from there. Their shop is scheduled to open at the end of January (hopefully).

I also appreciate you and @Juanjoolio007 taking a chance on some artisan chocolate...their prices are not easy to understand until you sample the product.

Guess when it comes to food and chocolate, I don't even question any more. We are self-described foodies ourselves, and when it comes to chocolate, quality is worth the price. This won't be my last purchase...looking forward to seeing their shop when I'm back in Seattle next time.

I am also a pretty big foodie as well. As a matter of fact I went to Western Culinary Institute after high school with the goal of becoming a pastry chef. The only problem is I am not an artistic kind of person. That dream never panned out but that’s ok. So I really appreciate the art that goes into it.
Kevin is incredibly talented. Everyone loved the chocolate. I would order more in the future for sure. To bad I’m not at my previous job still. We used to travel to Seattle a lot. Could have used my travel card . I wish him the best with the shop and his business.
