Good afternoon guys. I hope everyone is doing well. Seems like there might be some light at the end of the tunnel. We'll see what the Guv'na says tomorrow. I'm at nearly two months now working from home and actually like it. I'll take a few more weeks of this working from home, but I'd like to start seeing things opening back up.

Truck hasn't moved since Monday when we made a Costco run. That's about 5 miles round trip...engine doesn't even get warm. I'm enjoying this no-fuel bill, but missing the drives. According to my nerd chart, Mr. Covid has saved me 1,300 miles or about $300 in gas.

Make it a good Friday...for whatever that's worth.

Glad you're seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Walla Walla county is just getting started really. Hope the order sticks for a few more weeks or we will get way worse. We haven't even come close to peaking over here.

Interesting...I've stopped looking at all the charts and graphs, but was going with the assumption that if Inslee is starting to slowly release the restraints that we're doing well on the magical bell curve. That sucks if WW is just ramping up. Guess with states like TX opening back up, we'll learn quickly if we're GTG or FUBAR.

It took time to get here. We are now seeing patients in the hospital for it. Went from 1-2 new cases to 4 per day. Doesn't seem like much but we don't have the population on this side of the state. This next week will see if it slows or keeps increasing. It has just now gotten into the nursing homes.

Haha yeah the GHD is fine if your just doing sit-ups or back extensions..other stuff not so much haha. I just figured out how to do banded leg ext on it.

Fireball well...I was hooked for a long time. Now I just drink it every once in a while. Favorite right now besides shots is mixed with Orange Fanta.

check out Angel’s Donuts and Ice cream on the corner of SE 1st & 164 Ave. in the little strip mall catty corner to Parkrose hardware. They are reasonably good real donuts for a fair price.

That's the key right? Donuts have become like beer and coffee (to me at least). I'll try them all and you'd better have a price that matches. A good, simple fresh donut can be had, but don't price it like it's gold. And if you're charging double the going rate for a maple bar, don't just give it a second dose of maple glaze...

Not a huge fan of CNN, but I found these charts interesting. Looks like the data is from John Hopkins, which I think is one of the leading sources of info. The graph that shows the cumulative US cases can be changed to show the States. I'm not seeing a bell curve here!
    https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2020/health/coronavirus-us-maps-and-cases/index.html

Interesting stuff...granted, we all know testing is inadequate, incomplete and inconsistent across the US.

I am in the same boat. I enjoy working from home, and have saved a couple hundred bucks in gas so far. I miss driving my truck though. I have been trying to get take out from some of the local places I like once a week, and that's about the only time I get to drive my truck.

My wife lost her job which cost us about 2k per month in income. The eye-opening part of this is I'm still paying all my bills on time, and I'm still able to put the same amount in savings each pay. So apparently I was pissing away 2k per month on gas, food, entertainment and random Amazon finds.

Funny how that works...I've added a few things to my monthly bills too, including my truck payment, and I wonder where the money was going before then.

Looks like Inslee has a four-phase plan to get things going again. We get to stay home for another month (at least), but it includes hunting and fishing. Looking forward to Phase 2 so I can get a haircut.

I was planning to go to the N-central part of the state in early June for some camping recon. Not sure anything will be open at that point, but I can hope...because 48hrs in the truck with nothing but me, a couple of twinkies and gas station coffee is sounding pretty fricken awesome right now.

I think our first reservation for the year is at Wenatchee SP in June...not feeling good about that.

@PNW_Husky...Stopped at Countryside Donut on the way out of town this morning. Pointed to the pics of your grandfather on the wall and said I’d heard a rumor he was delivering donuts. He said “Yep, Monday, Wednesday and Friday”.

Two fresh donuts cost me $2.58. Told him I appreciated his amazing customer service and left him a $10 tip.

Nothing fancy, but I only allow myself one cup of coffee a week and they went together perfectly. 48AF4F6F-B304-46FA-80F4-9ABFFC0A6EE4.jpg

That’s so awesome! I took my son up to see his great grandpa yesterday, got there right before his donut delivery from Michael. He doesn’t have many “good” hours of the day but we cheered him up for a bit, all while trying to stay 6’ away. He hasn’t left his house since early March, he misses his donut group.A0B34795-DCD5-4846-9D46-BAE3D4E901B6.jpg

Today started great...250 miles on the truck with two donuts and some bomb coffee. No kids, no nothing...just me, the truck's V8 and my favorite play list.

Then something changed...I've spent the past 6 hours dealing with leaking roofs, clogged gutters, a broker refrigerator, and waiting in the rain to enter a store to get parts...the entire universe can Phuck. Off. PHUCK! OFF!

Putting my diet on pause; beer is needed.

I sincerely hope you all had a great Saturday....

Sorry to hear. It was coming down hard today. I watched from my garage as the gutters overflowed. Guess I’ll be cleaning them out tomorrow the moment it’s dry outside.
