I've already received some great info but figure I'd post this in here too...

Portland - Mt Hood area August 20-26

Any recommendations of great solo wheeling trails, camp spots, attractions, or restaurants would be GREAT!!

I'll be solo for the entire week so if any of you OR cats are up to something, or up to no good, I'm a great person to invite!

I'm trying to spend as little $$ as possible so i'm not into much night life unless there is a good band i have to hear. I want some terrific hikes and biking if you know of any.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated

Must have been someone else, it was probably a month ago. I don't see many blazing blue trucks. They look killer with the pro grill though. If you ever need an extra hand with a mod let me know, I am always down to help a fellow Toyota guy.

I saw on the news last night something about a 15 mile traffic jam on Hwy 26 yesterday. Down here in the Bay Area they claim it was due to the upcoming eclipse. Any truth to that? Anyone heard of what Hwy 395 to John Day might be like?

I have not heard that, but it does not surprise me. There are a ton of people headed to Oregon to see the eclipse.

More than likely accurate. Depends on the location on 26. The eclipse traffic is turning out to be a nightmare up around Bend/Madras or anywhere they are having a viewing event. 395 "should" be better, but as word gets out about the bad traffic elsewhere, it could bleed over to other route options. Not a good time to be casually touring central Oregon. Me... I'm staying put here west of Portland :)

Hey guys, see you're talking about tillamook and spokane. I grew up in Pacific City, and now I'm living in spokane. If you guys need help with any modding in the Spokane area, let me know. Happy to meet fellow Tundra guys, as I just got mine and have a long list of things to do already!

Yeah that was right. It's for the eclipse. The picture was on OSP's IG and probably a bunch of other places also. Traffic has been freaking crazy and is supposed to get worse thru Monday.

Ugh... good luck on 84... I'm a little further south in Eugene .... traffic is all they are talking about on the news here... that and gas stations running out of gas... good luck and safe travels!

I haven't heard anything yet about coming into town from the east yet. This was heading east on the east side of mt hood. And it's a single lane heading that direction. I am off work in about a half an hour and will listen to the news on the way home. So far 84 looks ok.

I used to hit the dunes there a lot. There used to be a big bowl called the Coliseum.A good friend of mine would take me on his dads commercial salmon boat every summer. I'd do lots of crabbing there during the winter off the piers. Used to fish a lot at Lake Marie not far from the lighthouse...(70s)

I have... well I'm embarrassed to say the actual number... several autos... several numbered blades of first production runs... they are certainly a quality product... and their axis locking system is one of the strongest and safest on the market... you definitely get what you pay for

I've got a Pro Grille in MGM I got from Toyota of Cool springs and won't be installing it. If anyone in the PDX area wants it, give me a shout. I'd like to sell it to someone local to avoid shipping. Selling it for what I have into it, $510.

    edit: Sale pending.
