Then we have probably talked before. I don’t have any issues with you guys....and it’s been a minute since I have messed up a car move so hopefully I haven’t caused you any grief.

Man does some BBQ sound amazing!! I just watched a grilled Corn on the cob video like 5 minutes ago and that started me thinking about food...now Bbq!!

I’m not a beer fan:crapstorm:. However, I am on a serious Wild Roots vodka kick. If you haven’t tried it they are a local Oregon company and freaking amazing and yes I have a bottle in the fridge with some Simply Limeade that may come in useful in about 9 hours

The wife and I have been on that same kick. Wild Roots vodka is delicious!!! Cranberry flavor, a splash of soda and lime is my go to.

Yea that is true. It's 71 in my office all year round. This weekend my wife and I are going to meet with our builder for a design meeting on our house plans, and go check out a couple of possible parcels to buy and build on.

    How about yourself?

    So jelly!:jellydance:

I am going to be working on my house to get repainted and repair siding to sell. I want to buy some land and let it sit a few years and then build. Need to buy now or prices are just going to go up.
Thinking of moving in with dad to help him out while getting land paid off. Then build slowly to my liking and what needs arise.

I am pretty excited. It's still a little unreal that we are doing it. It's been a dream of both my wife and I for a long time to have a house on land. We figured it's only going to get more expensive so now is the time. We are putting our current house on the market in the next few weeks and are going to move in with family until everything is complete. It's going to be a crazy year but will be totally worth it.

Nice, my wife and I are looking at property now as well. Although we are probably ~10 years away from doing anything with it. But as people said, it’s not going to get any cheaper.

My daughter has 3-5 soccer games this weekend (tourney) which should be fun. Headed to one right now.
The boy decided he not only wanted to play fall baseball, but flag football as well. o_O
After last season of dual sports between both kids I said we’d never do it again.
But all his damn friends are doing the same thing.
I think there needs to be a parent conference before everyone pulls some shit like this!

Man I hear you! My daughter plays soccer and two of her friends that she has played with have decided to do other sports(softball, cheerleading).Luckily we have kept her interest in soccer...on the other hand she may try out for the Westside Timbers program this year. Then we go from fall outdoor and winter indoor to year round. I don't know if I will be able to make games or tournaments working nights on the weekends. My son(7) is more academic oriented but just hit us with he thinks he wants to play golf or tennis or weirdly lacrosse. I guess they played that in PE.

Ha!! My daughter just turned 11, and son just turned 7.
Daughter has been in Premier soccer since it was available, 6-7ish? It’s pretty much year-round soccer. In the winter they go indoors. It’s a serious commitment. You can’t just skip games, or the team is fined thousands of dollars, which diverts back to the parents.
My son, thank God, is way more skilled for his age, and isn’t just stuck in soccer.
I’m excited for whatever he decides to play, as long as I get some type of M Fing break! LMAO!!

Yeah my daughter is 9. We have a great rec league here so we have been letting her try this for a while before we commit to the expenses that comes with higher leagues. We have extended family(might as well be a niece) that plays for the Timbers now. We have seen the craziness they go through.
We are really good friends with the parents of one of those girls I mentioned above. They have 3 girls and 1 boy. The oldest is on the top level soccer team in the area(above Timbers can't remember the name) she also plays basketball. The next one down is cheerleading(just won some big ass competition in Vegas a few months ago)and softball. The youngest girl is my daughters friend and she is now going to cheerleading. The son plays football and basketball. I don't have a gosh darn clue how in the world they make it to everything.

If you aren’t able to skip work whenever you want, and skip nearly every weekend function in your life, it’s tough.
We are extremely lucky with our work/life function. Most aren’t, and I don’t know how they do it.
There is a board/forum for the team that allows great comms like
“I can’t get Jennifer to the game tonight, can anyone pick her up at XXZ high school at 3:30pm and make it to the game by 5:30Pm”

It works, and it’s normally a great parent platform. Not sure how other areas south of us work though (Oregon).
Us NW WA folks have each other’s backs pretty solid. :)

Gahhhh just got a rejection letter for my vanity plate because apparently there is one of the same reported as stolen in Henderson, Nevada. Apparently we can’t trust police to select the same state when running a plate.:mad::mad:

3 Peaks last night was off the hook Lol. Local country singer up and coming was playing (Brittney Kellog). I think she was on American Idol or something.

Good food and grrrrreat beer. Weather held up beautifully.

Then my daughter/team ended up playing a morning semi-finals game, won, and played the Finals game this evening and won the Championship. What a crazy weekend for her - 5 games total. It paid off.
