I need to do this, but I'm clueless beyond a spray wax.

Couldn't find the breadsticks at the farmer's market, but found a good local IPA with lunch.

Just saw Zach Bryan on the pier in Port Townsend, really good acoustical country artist. He's not a household name yet but he should go big time. Military dude turned singer.

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll give him try tomorrow. Looks like he’s getting some play on Spotify. 90890FB2-E493-4644-B626-9EB0346F1E86.jpg

Sitting in the basement now hoping a big G&T can squelched my aches and pains. The truck got a wash, then spray and scrub with the iron remover. Followed by a full clay bar. Never done that before; crazy what it removes. Then another wash, a hand-polish of select scratches and then a full round of sealant using an orbital. My. Body. Hurts.

Tomorrow I’ll finish with a full wax application. Then this coming week I’ll do the wheels/tires and interior.

I’m pretty sure if you just let it sit parked, you could get a nice mossy growth going to match your truck paint.
    Just kidding, lol!

Need some opinions. My parents are both in a cemetery in Bremerton. Mom passed about a year ago (expected) and we never had much of service because of Covid. Trying to set up a little family get together this summer. Need suggestions for hotel/B&B for a few days. Anything to see/do in the area? Also a place to have lunch for a group of maybe 10 of us. College friend suggested Gig Harbor. Thanks!

    Sorry about your parents.
We're camping on Port Townsend right now, cool little town with plenty of things to do and places to eat.
Are you trying to stay close to Bremerton?

Close to Bremerton for a lunch/get together after we visit the Cemetary. But for hotels, running around, anywhere else is great. Will look into Port Townsend. Thanks for the feedback.

Depends how far you want to travel from Bremerton. I’m usually hauling azz thru there and never stop. Gig Harbor is nice for sure.

Bayview State park isn’t too far south. It is a typical state park, but has large open areas if you are looking to picnic.

We love Port Gamble to the North. There are a couple of restaurants there and it has a nice, small strip of shops to walk thru. It has big open spaces too.

What’s up everybody? Anyone got any big plans this weekend?

We were hoping to go camping, but the weather doesn’t look good. Think we’ll try again next weekend. Been looking at some locations on Hipcamp...stay away from the busy locations.

Hope you are all healthy and well...

Beef ribs are on my list of things to try. One of these days...

We sampled some of the new stuff last Friday. It is amazing.

Bummer! But if WW is like this side of the state, it will be raining. A good weekend to make some coin.

Supposedly it will rain tonight and tomorrow. Sunday will just be over cast. I am ok with rain. We need it. Haven't had rain for a few weeks and things are drying out to fast. Working sucks, but it's a part time weekend job. I'll be working daily for a month. Then go back on call mid May. Part time place lost a few RN's so I am picking up the slack. It's an easy gig, assisted living. Lots of cool stories and most residents are self sufficient. A glorified baby sitter, but it's a fun job when all is well. And a little extra money to help replenish my savings after the holidays and purchasing a few new guns.

My next week will be framing and working on the addition inside my pole barn/shop. A separation wall, small mezzanine area, and an insulated office space. I’m caught up on knife orders for now so I can concentrate on this stuff. Will post some pictures when I get something to show y’all

Heading to European Motorcycles of Western Oregon tomorrow. Trailer-ing the bikes as mine needs to show up cold at 9am for a valve check/adjust. My buddie's bike has a fuel pump recall. So, we loaded the bikes on the trailer tonight, and I will pull them over Santiam Pass in the a.m. Likely rain, and probably a bit of snow. I'll load the Thermos and the Yeti with French Roast. I love a challenge.

Bookmarked. Still working on what I want to order from you...

Had my coworker/second in command over for dinner tonight. He’s currently “bach’ing” it at a new house that’s a little bit of a nightmare purchase while his wife and 24-yr-old daughter are still in Colorado living at the rental they’ve been in since last fall (long story). He brought over a bottle of Don Julio 1942, and that just goes down way too smooth...:drunk:

That's really cool. Some day I'll have an idea for a knife and we'll chat.

Sounds like you woke up with the same head thunder as me. I just made some hashbrowns with diced crispy spam and runny eggs to squelch the noise.

Since we cancelled camping I figured it would be at least a dry day outside. But it's been raining all morning. Glad we chose to listen to the weather forecasts this time around. Think today is a wash-the-dog and relax kind of day.

Not raining like crazy, more of a drizzle here. But it's pretty wet out. We need it though. Pretty dry out there and it's only April
