Hi team, I've been in search for a 1G Tundra and found one with an immaculate service record performed by the local Toyota Dealership. 150K miles for $11K. The seller sent me the following undercarriage pictures upon request. The Car has been in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area all its life. Does the frame look good? image_4617f704-071c-4be4-a126-8bf2710d31f7_2048x.jpg image_687e7900-bafe-4fc0-b125-6b02d241ff1d_2048x.jpg image_0a9b5659-bbb1-40bc-b161-c5b9050f4bb2_2048x.jpg

Hard to tell from those pics. Need to get under there and poke around with a screwdriver and hammer.

Agree with above poster. The frame looks pretty good from those pics. No obvious major rust spots but if it were me I would want to poke around and really look at it.

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
Agree with other posters, Before you agree to buy, get underneath and poke around with a scewdriver.

Now, based on what we can't see (surface rust Everywhere), I would propose the previous owners at least weekly Rinsed the undersides given where it lived, I've never seen a vehicle from upper north east without surface rust and usually far, far uglier.

If I were you, I'd get to going to see it, looks Good to me!

None, really. Just tires and wheels.
Dang, even the wheel on the spare looks good.

Need better pictures, if the axle is a sign of anything it may be under coated. Or the frames been replaced. If it’s under coated it’s likely hiding some nasty rust

I agree with empty_lord, looks coated.

If you look at the 3rd pic, left side by the lift point you can see rust/ bubbling in that area.

I'm sure on close inspection there will be significant rust.

Like others said, looks like it could have issues, and really requires you to do a good inspection yourself. Aside from the frame, be sure to check the differential (there are some posts around here about them rusting through and leaking).
That doesn’t mean it’s a write off, if it just needs to be properly stripped, treated, painted and recoated it might be worthwhile, assuming you can talk down the price enough.
I don’t know what the rust situation is in your part of the world, but it may be that you won’t find anything better locally. That being said, I wouldn’t pay anything like that if I had to do that kind of work to the frame.
