    Seat covers, SnugTop.
Trifold will have more wear/leakage/failure points.
You can more confidently mount stuff (bike racks) to a 1 piece.
1 piece is harder to remove/store if you want to use the bed for bulky items.

    Canopy- more dry storage.....

If you want a one piece cover, look at the UnderCover. It as alot lighter.

Agreed and I have had both on Tundras too.

A one piece is just more simple in some ways and more secure and watertight because of it I think too.
On the other hand they also can limit what you can carry on your bed for sure too where a folding cover can often be used while folded out of the way too.

The Fiberglass ones are pretty nice but really heavy too and tough to remove as needed but the Undercover is made to be lighter weight and more practical to yank if you need to but are still pretty heavy I think though for sure lighter than FG. I also like how simple the Undercover is and the locks are much easier to keep adjusted and working too or at least mine were.

I need more space really so I use a full contractor shell which really gives me,security, dry bed and a lot more usable space for everything that I use mine for every day.

To each his own needs though in the end.

I have an undercover and I like the top except for one thing. The stupid lock has been replaced 3 times and it still has issues. When you turn the lock it works when a new one gets installed. That usually last about 6 months or so and then it just quits working. I've grown tired of having it replaced and then finding one day I cannot get it unlocked. Pretty embarrassing to be stuck in Lowe's parking lot and not being able to get in the bed of your own truck.

Not sure I'd get another one.

When I bought mine it came with an ARE 1 piece. There were 2 spots where it rubbed the paint off (by rubbing up and down) just above the tail lights because it didn't fit exact or wasn't installed exactly correct. In the post #5, last picture, where you see the ceiling lights reflecting on the paint, those looks exactly where the rubbed spots were on mine. I had to use touch-up paint to fix it. It is not too noticeable, but I know they are there and they bug the crap out of me.

Since then, I replaced the ARE cover with a DiamondBack cover.

Yep,mine was rubbed bare there too.
Nature of the beast I think? Either water tight and rubbing or leaks and no rubbing.
