i am new here from about a month ago so I’d thought I’d update. I drove the truck stock for a few weeks before a couple necessary mods, 305/65/18 on Fuel vectors, 3” lift, tint, steps and man am I happy! I am a caraholic and therefore have had way too many cars in my 50+ years, prob over 35 so far. In the recent past I’ve had 2003 f150 Harley edition (should not have let that one go), GTI (loved it, tuned it), Explorer sport (great rig, another one I loved), Benz E350 (all time fav’s), the 19 4Runner I recently traded in on the tundra (liked it, don’t miss it yet). Maybe we should do thread on all the cars we’ve had? That would be embarrassing for me but I’d do it.

Anyway, the Tundra Is running great! Love the power, love the looks and ride too. Can’t think of anything yet which I’m disappointed with. I absolutely enjoy all the room inside! Seats are comfy, stereo could be a bit better but it’s good. The tell all will be how well it performs this winter, we got record snow last year and I really want this thing to do well in the snow/ice.

Just wanted to say again I’m happy to be here. (And I’ll be adding an exhaust, prob long headers and so forth from DD’s).

    Welcome to the fun!

I got a '14 SR in '16. I found the stereo to be weak too. Mine was a non-JBL. Replaced it with a Pioneer 7200NEX with NAV. Love the Android Auto and listening to my Spotify playlists. Did the Bilstien 6112s, 2"shackles, 295/70/18 Ridge Grapplers on XD Addict798 rims, running boards, fenders, wood dash trim, LED headlights and Tannaeu cover. Also added four cameras, one in front of each front wheel, one in the grill and one mounted on the back axle looking forward. Painted the wheels white. I want to do them over in gloss white powder coat.20180901_130002.jpg

    Cheers!

Yes, thank you for your service!
And is the screen name from the Russian River Pliny Beer? If so, Pliny the Elder is my all-time favorite beer in this entire universe! :D
Nice Tundra by the way, dig the wheel choice!

Thanks, the job was trying at times but worth it. Being retired and not having to deal with what I used to is great for me. Yes the name is Pliny related, lol. I grew up in NorCal and have always loved Russian River brews. I’m headed down next week to visit my kids and drink even more of it!!

I have friends that say the same thing!

Awesome on Pliny! Enjoy the drinks with your kids!
Up here in the PNW our stores only get about a case at a time, and normally the employees buy it lol.
There’s one local tap house in Portland that always has it, but that’s about it. Definitely hard to find up here.

So far I’m getting the estimated mileage. Still breaking it in though. 13.5 city, 17ish highway. Pretty normal I’d say. But I’m in a smaller town without terrible traffic and my highway driving can be on the flat side for most trips. I haven’t driven very far up the hills yet.
