Anybody running the ome bp51 setup? What size wheel and tires also? Looking at this kit, icon 17’s and 35’s but not sure if it was doable.
    Thanks!

Hi Beast, I have the OME Nitrocharger coilovers setup, which is good. The BP-51's are a mid travel gift from ARB heaven for our Tundra's. If I had the scratch they'd be on my tunny right now!

    Hey Matt,

What wheel and tire setup are you running? I think according to OME specs the overall lift is approx 2.5”, not sure that would be enough to run 35’s or not. I’m aware that even with 3” lift most are having to do a cmc/bmc. Any are welcome advise.
    Thanks!

Advertized as 2.5". Depends on which coil you choose and what you have up front.. I have a Smittybilt winch and a DV8 winch bumper. I'm using the 614 heavy load coils for the 4.7L with 200+ lbs. The load on my front is less than 200lbs with my 5.7L, rides great off road so no need to go up to the 613 heavy load coils. I'm close to 2.75" lift as is. The ride off road is great. Still need to get the DAKAR leaf pac installed .

I wish it wasn’t so hard to decide on a complete kit lol. I’m looking anywhere from the new OME kit we’re talking about, an Icon stage 3-4 or so, or maybe a dirt logic kit. Thought about the SST kit by Ready Lift but I haven’t seen much feedback on that. Decisions decisions.

All lot of us have been waiting for the OME BP series to hit. It has. Pricey but like I said...if I was going to upgrade it would be the BPs. My current budget friendly OME setup is great...but the ARB engineered BP specifically tuned for or Tunny's??? A wet dream come true IMHO!

It did cross my mind, but I would venture to guess the new Pro’s are gonna run $50k ish, if not more?? Even used pro’s with 20-30k miles are still selling for high $40k’s from what I’ve seen. I have a personal problem modding every single car I’ve ever owned even if it comes factory modded lol. I know I’m not the only one! The plan as of now is to get a base sr5 in the mid to high $30k’s and go from there.

Good plan! Makes more sense modding a SR or SR5.

Understood, but what I meant was to just purchase the TRD Pro suspension for your SR5. That is my plan. @Roman

    Cupcake chit.
You will have to cmc and trim for 35”s. How much depends on wheel width/offset, exact tire size and if you run UCAs and get a proper alignment. I am going with bp-51 and planning 37x13.5. Should be fun.

Why buy the unadjustable Pro coilovers and shocks for $2500 when you could buy an adjustable set for that or only a little more? Plus if you want 2.5-3” out of the Pro suspension you have to add shims.

+1. Just curious if the new trd suspension is adjustable? Don’t remember reading or seeing it anywhere. I seem to keep being pulled towards the BP51’s so far though. I guess it’s good news bad news I don’t have the truck yet lol. Glad to have this forum for help though.

None of the TRD shocks have been adjustable, so I’d be surprised if the 2019’s will be. The ones on the 2019 TRD PRO may be, but I don’t think anyone knows yet.

Honestly because I would like to try and keep my mods from the factory as much as possible. My off reading days are over and just want a nice factory level. But I definitely understand where you are coming from for those that off-road and prefer a more adjustable type option.

I guess I don’t see much of a difference whether they’re “factory” or not, but I see what you’re getting at brotha!

Ron, It's easily to get confused with all the options you have. Everyone means well here. Seriously..........call David at ToyTec...tell him your budget...tell him what you want to do. David will not push you into something that is not a good fit. Can't hurt to make that call... Possible forum discount. I forgot to mention and so many others for some reason.............ToyTec Boss setup....Zach's ToyTec Rad-Flo (come on Zach...a great setup!! Promote it!!!). Unless you plan on racing your Tundra or do a lot of hi speed AZ desert wheeling..........then go with the ADS, Fox, Icon.....all top notch wheeling setups. We all have different things we do with our tunny's. I am biased because I know all the ToyTec Crew. Their life is family, wheeling, and wheeling, and wheeling.......with family. Good folks...Won't steer you wrong...right @4x4_Angel ??

You’re right, I don’t pimp the Radflos near enough. They were kinda stiff at first w/ 700 lb coils, but now that I have around 9k on em they ride pretty damn nice. Want to upgrade the rear to the RR’s sometime down the road, maybe when the bonus comes in in the fall.

Hey there, I’m getting the BP51 system installed tmrw, minus the leaf pack. I’ve started a thread and will add to it as soon as I have pics and some thoughts.

I’ve posted pics and a quick synopsis about the install and benefits under a different thread. Search for BP51 and it should come up!
