Since I've decided to keep my 2017 TRD Pro Cement, I decided why not mod it a little? So in the last week, I've done the following...

    • LED Headlights, LED fogs, iHacker harness
    • TRD Front swaybar (already had the rear)
    • Color matched door handles (from Sparks Parts)
    • Painted the front tow hooks with red caliper paint
    • OEM 4Runner steering wheel
I also just ordered new wheels:

    Black Rhino Roku 18x9.5.

The aggressive offset (ET12) will go well with the fender flare kit getting painted.

Just got the Bushwacker Flare Set, 1.5" wider (I'm not a rivet fan so I choose these).

Someone stop me! I think I may be modding too much...

Where'd you order the Black Rhino's from?
What size tire are you going to run? Stock height?

Looking forward to pics of the flares, those are the same ones I want as I’m also not a big fan of the rivets.

Just to add a little color. Didn’t want to install additional shackles.

Ordered from CarID. Was $1000 shipped with black bolts.

I really liked the look of the Vivid Racing spec’d Tundra but didn’t want the added weight of 20s.

Haven’t decided on tires yet...but I’m gonna keep stock height.

Keep going for sure. I like the choice of wheels and size. Will stick out approx 14mm further out than my 18x9+20’s. I actually would’ve preferred to go with +0, or same size as yours. But mine look pretty good.

Don’t forget sound system, ESP storage, Bakflip tonneau, nerf bars, light bar, center console storage, weathertech mats.... the list is never ending!

    Already got:
    • ESP storage
    • Bakflip cover
    • Center console storage (non-locking)
    • Tundra all weather mats
    • LED bulbs throughout
    • NFab side steps
These seemed like essentials, when I got the truck.

I figured if I was planning on spending $6k+ on a 2019 TRDP for basically a sunroof and new suspension, might as well spend a lot less and make it more uniquely mine.

    Supercharger?

I hope you don’t do what I do and do the mods and like 6 months down the line still think I should’ve gotten rid of it when I wanted to and gotten what I wanted.

This is kind of what I did. Dropped $900 on a Pro suspension for my Tacoma and 2 months later traded it for a Tundra.

    Oh well.

Since the only off-roading I’m gonna ever do is driving up the sidewalk curb to the local bike shop, I should be ok.

No way I was going to spend $5k on 20” Volk Racing Wheels. 20” tires were already going to be 20 pounds heavier (each) over stock. Moving up to a 285 was going to increase the tire weight marginally.

Everyone spending someone elses money. It easy! All kidding aside, you are better off doing the modding than buying new because of the depreciation hit. Now draw the line and enjoy the mods for a few years before spending any more money.

I've spent over $4K on brand new Volk wheels for my G37 before, got the JDM bug for a bit. Wont do that again.

I also have the Roku's, but went with 20's. Just waiting for the tires to arrive now.

The 20” version look better...I just didn’t want the extra rotational weight of the tires.

Hey... Sparks has the front door handles in cement? Woohoo!

I want to add those, and a billet grill insert, and paint the center dash stacks black (bought a replacement from EBay) and add a leather steering wheel and I'll be done till it's time for tires.

I also have the rear TRD sway bar, and love it. What is the advantage/difference with the front bar?

    Absolutely love the Cement color.

Finally got the wheels and tires on.

Now to deal with that pesky TMPS sensor. Anyone have some black tape for the dash?
