most of us do oil changes based on miles driven, but what about the time between oil changes? I don't drive a lot, between work and home is about 5 miles, plus i use another vehicle, so it takes me like 6 months to put 2000 miles on the truck, would the dealership change oil base on time instead of miles?

Yes, use up your freebies. I'm in the same boat. It should be 1 year, or 6 months if you have a FFV. I just did mine at 1 year, 4000 miles.

Yes, I am in the same boat since I work from home. Dealer set up my first appointment at 6 months since I have the FFV engine and do not use E85. At the first oil change, he set up the next for 6 months and said come in sooner if I get another 5K before the appointment date.
