Morning everyone. So i went from an Audi RS5 to this 2010 Tundra. Yeah i know huge change. In a nut shell the Audi was a money pit and we were borrowing my dads Chevy for camping trips. Its been a journey so far with this Tundra. To start off it was a West Virginia truck, and it had a poor 3-1 leveling kit on it with junk 35" tires and junk wheels with a +18 offset. It was to the point at full drop the spindle arm was hitting the coil spring. So that had to go and i put a full 5" suspension on the truck. We replaced all of the front end parts with exception to the sway bar. That was a journey on its own. Just upgraded the Wheels and tires with 20x12 Fuel wheels with Nitto Ridge Grappler rubber. This has been a huge fix, but still more to go. I am not happy with the struts or rear shocks so i am looking at Fox or what ever that's closest without killing the bank. The rear rides a bit harsh compared to other trucks i have owned. My wheel shop did change a few things to help. He said the rear block on the lift were actually not right and they didn't do a diff drop. It helped some but i still get the ocean motion ride in a few sections on the highway that the Chevy doesn't experience. Did i mention the wheel guy backed the truck into a concrete pole and is replacing my rear bumper :) I have also thrown out the factory stereo deck and replaced it with a Secaine android head unit which has been great.
Last week i replaced the factory halogen lights with low beam H-11 s-v4 and high beam cougar motor sports 9005 Huge difference over stock, but what i wanted to do was get some AlphaRex housings until i found out they are now using leds that are soldered to a board and you cant replace them. Bummer cause they look so nice.
