Anybody else here supercross fans? Bring on the trash talk and technical talk! Rocky Mountain does their Fantasy SX, I was thinking about starting a group that we could all participate in. I know the first round starts tonight so we need to choose fast.

Me too! If he can keep it on two wheels, he will dominate.

Yup. Cole Seely and Anderson were flying in practice as well. There as so many good riders now, it's hard to make picks.

Definitely a solid save by Musquin! If it was anybody else, I don't think it would of turned out the same.
If Roczen can keep it on two wheels, I don't think many people can stand a chance. You see him through the whoops compared to everybody else? Dude was on clouds, then just was pretty much just like :crapstorm: the rest of the race. Anaheim 2 should be good tonight, gonna be a muddy race from what the track pictures have looked like. Even though you work nights, you can still be a part of the Rocky Mountain Fantasy SX. haha. All you basically do is pick the top 5 plus a wild card position. Easy.

I recently changed my TV package up and last night I couldn't find it on any of the stations I have. I may need to do something about that. Typically I like to be asleep before the West coast Main's even begin. If I start watching it I will get hooked, go to bed at 0130, and regret it in the morning so I usually catch up the next day. The races in my own time zone are much easier on me!

Last year I went to the round in Jersey, it was a great time.
    IMG_20170122_074023.jpg

My first Honda was in 97', right around the King's reign, dreaming of nac nac's on my 96' CR80. Honda has had some great riders since then, but it seems many have had bad luck and/or injuries and trailed behind other teams that have shined. I hope with KR94 on the team they can get a championship!

I saw pics of KR94's 96' CR250 from Terrafirma 94', but didn't watch any clips yet. I have wanted to restore a 96' CR250 like that for a while now!

EDIT: After morning catch up, the curse continues....

I was super bummed when it happened. :annoyed: Hopefully Musquin can step it up and put some pressure on Dungey otherwise it will just be another boring championship season.

I think Anderson will be more of a factor than Tomac just based off the way Tomac is riding. Dungey will need to make a few mistakes and Anderson will need to start capitalizing fast after getting DQ'd at A2.

This is going to be Tomac's first 450 championship. I'm calling it now while he is 20 points behind.

Agreed! Nice to see some action going on rather than the same person winning week in week out. The diversity is always nice, it sucks that it came from the horrible accident Roczen had at A2 though. He's got a long way to go to be 100% again.

Tomac was on point.. but let's see if he can get another good start and repeat next week? I feel like he only does well when he gets a good start.

Otherwise I'm thinking this years championship is still open game to a couple different riders.

Always love seeing Reed get into his groove. He may be the oldest guy on the track but his slow laps are still way faster than I could ever ride on those supercross tracks

I only watched a few clips but it looked like a great race. I was pumped to see Reed, the old man, up front.

I also saw a clip of Reed, Tomac, and Dungey talking about Roczen's crash. They all showed excellent sportsmanship, I was very pleased to see them setting a good example for younger guys in the sport looking up to them.

Did you guys see the pictures of Roczen's arm? Devastating!

Yeah his arm looks like something out of a horror movie.. open wounds and all with rods and screws attached on the outside to hold everything in place. Looks like it's the worst injury in quite awhile for the sport.

:jellydance: Sadly I didn't get to go this year, I always love getting to go out and watch the races! I hope they go back to Houston next year, we road tripped for that race last year and I enjoyed it more than the Arlington race honestly, not to mention A LOT cheaper for the same quality seats

Yeah, I wish I had the money/time to go to every race in a season one year, or at least do all the West coast races one year, then all the East coast races another, that would be awesome. Or even go to one race a year but at a different location each year until you go to them all.
