You can do split screen if you use CarPlay or Android Auto. I use it all the time. The native Toyota interface does not do split screen.

When I am driving around town I dont use AA so it doesn't matter to me. But on a road trip toggling between the radio and AA is distracting. Hence I will wait on split screen.

How do we find and print the actual tsb's? I tried googling T-SB-0007-24 and couldn't find anything trustworthy. I'd like to print and file all related to my truck.

EDIT: thanks @ryanwgregg for compiling this list.

You aren’t going to find much by Googling…

After about 3-6 months they will show up on NHSTA website. Once that happens they are considered public information. Before that they are available only though toyota techinfo site. They are considered non-public.

    https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2023/TOYOTA/TUNDRA/PU%252FCC/4WD#manufacturerCommunications

Toyota seems to aggressively go after people that post the Documents publicly before its available though government site.

Not specific to the tundra ether. On Tacoma world the 3rd gen mega thread on tsb and calibrations all the PDF copies were stripped while apparently Toyota was fine with leaving the CUW. Calibration files in the thread so go figure.

(note you may need to change the link to your particular year and model)

Ryan may want to put this in his main post but there is a handy tool on the yotatechs.com webiste you can sign up an email and they send you an email when new TSB show up. This uses data from NHSTA.

The yotatech formatting is hard to read though so usually I just hop over to NHTSA when I get the email from yotatechs.

This is the template I basically type up and print out for the service advisor and tech when I suspect/know a TSB applies.

Thanks guys, I didn't realize that Toyota was so protective about their TSB's.

So much so that I received a Cease & Desist because I was putting a screenshot of the first page of each TSB, hence why this thread is text only…

So if a bulletin is marked for 2022 and 2023, does that mean 2024 is not applicable and thus no attention given if problem does occur?

It just means they haven’t seen the issue on a 2024 and/or the issue is believed to have been resolved for 2024 model years…

Finally! I have been dealing with squeaky brakes since the day I bought my 22 Tundra 2 years ago. Made countless complaints and was always told Toyota is aware but no remedy has been issued.

My dealership ordered the parts to fix so fingers crossed it actually works.

While I wait I called Toyota Corporate looking for some type of compensation for the 2 years of aggrevation.

They said since there was no saftey concern and it was only a nuisance they would not be providing any compensation.

Any thoughts on fighting this with Toyota? Class Action Lawsuit?

There is no reason for any of that…

Not sure I understand your statement..

I bought a brand new $60k vehichle that was defective.. it squeaked everytime I came up to a stop that resembled more of a junk yard car than the brand new vehicle I purchased.

I understand my safety was not at risk, but it still was defective and sold to me as such.

Additionally, over the 2 years of my complaining, Toyota repeatedly brushed me off and promised to offer compensation once a remedy was issued.

Now I'm being told to kick rocks..

So yes there is reason to pursue proper compensation.

I understand your frustration. I had two Jeeps lemoned in seven months, so I feel your pain. But unless you can prove a warranted defect was not repaired, a lawsuit is unlikely to go anywhere. Certainly not a class action unless you can find a class of owners with the same complaint. Class action lawsuits take a lot of legal work. I would venture a guess that you’d be hard pressed to find a lawyer willing to take this on in either case since they typically work on a contingency. If you don’t get paid…they don’t get paid.
