So I got a 40" Rigid Radiance light bar coming in tomorrow that I'll be installing in the grill. Now I want to keep the stock look. I've looked at AOB and OTRA. But the problem is that the radiance bar requires 2 switches. One for the backlight , the other for the light bar. I don't have 2 open slots. So here's what I'm thinking. This switch is in most Toyotas that have heated seats now... If I can find one at a junkyard.. Do you think I can wire them to the 2 lights ? The L would control the backlight and the R would turn on the bar. Has anybody done this ? I know it's possible , but I have no experience in electronics so any help would be appreciated ! I'm not familiar with the light bar you are mounting but I just recently installed a 200 watt light bar on my truck and used a switch from www.your4x4store.com. It is cheaper than the AOB switch by about $10 I think. It is back lit when parking lights/headlights are turned on and lights further when the light bar is turned on. Not sure why you would need 2 separate switches with your application. The switch I have uses 4 connectors: 1 connects to my ignition/accessory source tap using a 3 amp fuse/add-a-fuse, 1 connects a trigger wire (Pin 86) to my relay to turn the light bar on, 1 connects to the dash illumination circuit of a neighboring switch (allows it to be back lit with the parking lights/headlights turned on), and 1 is a ground wire for the switch. Let me know if this doesn't make any sense and I will give more info...

The light bar I'm referring to comes with 2 separate switches because it has a "backlight" feature that comes in 5 different colors. It has little LEDs in the housing that light up. Which is why it needs two switches so one switch turns the backlight and the other will turn on the actual light bar . ImageUploadedByTapatalk1458052409.638438.jpg

Good choice on the light manufacturer. BD and RI are solid!

Ok, I understand the need now with the wiring harness. Wish I could assist but, no experience with this type set up. Good luck with your install.

Got the bar mounted today. Thinking about just getting the sPOD setup and be done with it . ImageUploadedByTapatalk1458277372.570243.jpg
