    Hi All,

the used oem fender flares I bought off of CL came with all hex screws and rubber trim, but did not have the two brackets/clips to mount the top section of the front flares to the inner liner. I knew this and thought I could easily buy the brackets, but no such luck.

All Toyota parts guys in my area don't or won't sell these separately.
Bushwacker won't sell the two front brackets separately.
Bushwacker dealers don't have them and can't order just the front mount bracket.
I tried several universal brackets/clips but they're either too small or just don't work.

I've googled myself to death searching for universal or other ways to mount the front top section.

I don't know what else to try and I really don't want to use a long screw to mount through the fender liner.

appreciate any help or other ideas on how to secure front FF top section.

    Thanks,

Hey, thanks Faht Nocker I did reach out to Roman, as he was my first contact but he was unable to assist. He provided suggestions on how to find the parts.

    Thanks.

Thanks. actually Roman suggested I try to find out manufacturer to see about getting a kit. I read on here that bushwhacker provides the oem FF so I gave them a try but no luck for just the front brackets.

issue is I had a set on my truck and took them off a while back since I was planning to fix/paint them, but realized I lost the hardware during a move. so I decided to toss them out since I found another oem used set on CL in good condition and a good price. I bought them but just need the two front mount clips.

    I'll keep searching.

I went through this same issue a year or so back. Bought some from a Craigslist seller and he did not have the front mounting brackets. I ended up just mounting the flares w/out the upper brackets, and did not have any adverse effects that I could tell. Sold that truck later so I have no recent data to relate. Hope this helps. Sad that Bushwacker will not just sell the brackets that are needed.

    thanks guy's.

Idale, did you use the hex screw at the two top holes by screwing into the liner, or did not use anything for the two top holes?

Nothing in the holes. The flares seemed to be tight enough to the fenders. I just Put pressure inward as I tightened the other retainers in hopes that would be sufficient.

If I’m not mistaken, the latest pocket style flares fromToyota are made by EGR, not Bushwacker.

    None that apply

I inherited a some Bushwacker flares for my 2017 1794 and getting the clips is IMPOSSIBLE. Bushwacker says the flare and the bracket are made from the same sheet of material...that means for every 1 flare that is made, one bracket is made...there are no extras. And, without the bracket, my flares vibrated and eventually the rubber gaskets started coming off and flapping in the wind.

My solution will be to cut a "makeshift" bracket out of treated lumber (it won't be seen). The holes that line up to the inner fender have to be drilled out precisely, but the holes for the flare don't have to be exact.

If anyone finds the real brackets, please post!!!

Did you end up doing this? Easy enough solution? I’m surprised there isn’t a 3d print file for this yet.
