    Hi gang,

So I did a search of fender flares and find very few pics of the OE (smooth) flares. My wife wants me to get them but I have no plan on a lift or bigger tires. My concern is that the flares would look too goofy.
Anyway, if any of you guys have flares without the rivet/screw look, could you please post a pic?

    Thanks!

Tell your wife that in order to make the flares look right, you need lower offset wheels and larger tires.

Yes... She was also the one who wanted me to get a new truck when my Nissan was giving me trouble, even though I wanted to wait until we moved.
So, I got off the toilet and obeyed.

Steve, the fact that your wife wants you to buy anything other than gas for your truck, is a good thing! My wifes eyes glaze over if I even say truck. So good for you!

I'm not a fan of the tucked in wheel look, though. If you've got stock +60 offset wheels and stock or street tires, it's not even functional having flares since you won't have mud or anything getting past the fenders anyway. If you think you might get wheel spacers or different wheels at some point to at least bring the tires even with the flares, then sure get a set. If not, if spend that money on something else for the truck.

Lol. I agree, I can use other things first. I tried talking her into a TACOMA andI told her she can outfit it how ever she wants.

Steve, tell the wife that if you get fender flares that you'll need to at least order up a set of spacers if you stay with the stock wheels. Bushwacker makes an O.E. style flare that only adds .75". A 1.25" spacer combined with that would look great.

And I like your idea of having a light bar in the bumper as oppose to in the grill. The grill just looks cleaner without the light in it.
