I have been exploring this forest for about a year and have been eyeing this trail. So come last Saturday I set out on a mission. Armed with an avocado, onion, some tortillas, ground beef, hot sauce, cervezas, and some cooking utensils, I set out. Oh yeah and obviously some recovery gear and what not. Long story short, I only got six miles in the trail. Hindered by a flat tire. The trail leaves it's fair share of pin stripes as well as logs that have to be cut or moved. I will be going back in a couple of weeks to attempt to finish the rest of the trail.

The route I've done so far, tire popped at the second trail.

The aftermath of 25k miles, mixed city and highway use, some heavy towing and cargo, a burnout here and there and heavy leg.

You know you're hungry when you focused far more on the food than the rest of it. LOL Looks fun though!

I was gonna ask what you aired down to… then I saw it was sidewall damage. Good food, a couple of cervesas, and a new trail*… sounds like a great time!

Maybe get a friend to go out with you as a trail buddy! All 3 of those will be even better!
