    Bearings don't leave you stranded when they go bad. Just very noisy and make you want fix them asap.

    I'm not changing any wheel bearings until they are noisy, no matter how many miles on them.

    They will always let you know you need to change them...unless you choose to ignore the noise. They are not going to leave you stranded. You have many miles available before you can create a fire.
