Thinking about moving to NC. Want to be close to a river for the boat, but out of the immediate hurricane zone, possibly Greenville. Looking for suggestions and advice.

    Thanks,

Inland as far as Raleigh gets clipped fairly regularly with hurricanes. Mostly just heavy rain but they do come through. I’ve only lived there and Charlotte. Charlotte gets them much less frequently but still get major ones. E.g. Hugo. But much prefer hurricanes to tornados that spring up in the night frequently.
