    When I first saw this I was thinking LT. Then I read the description and it says RWD - would you put LT on a 2WD truck? :notsure:

    Well, I don't know, on a 3rd gen because they're heavy. But Keith at Dirty Deeds has LT on his 1st gen 2WD and it is a badass in the desert. Had no problem keeping up with the SGU guys in Ocatillo and Anza. I've seen most of the prerunners out on the desert (regular people, not sponsored racers but maybe them too) with LT 2WD's, stripped-down with bedcages.

    Yes to LT 2wd. With a locker it'll be very capable. But the photos above don't look like LT to me. Those look like stock LCAs, CV angles look too severe and I I don't see any extensions on the tie rods.

    Do you know what will fit in the spare tire slot without modifications? I had 20" wheels originally but swapped them out for 18's with 275/70, but didn't touch my spare. Wondering if I should also keep a full size spare and if it will fit.

    It fits w/o modification but hangs low. What we've all done is cut or drill out the guides. Then you can fit a 35 up there nice and snug. You need to help align the tire to keep it off the shackles but it's not hard.
