The Good: Found a LEER 100XQ on CL for $350 which looks like a steal and only an hour away.

The Bad: Its silver and my truck is an MGM.

For that price is it worth picking up and trying to paint it black? Or is painting it more trouble than its worth.

Anyone have pics of non color matched tops? Preferably with a lighter color top than the truck.

I was looking at the Softopper in black so I'm fine with the top not being color matched if it were black. Just not sure the silver is gonna sit well with MGM.

Guy selling it has the silver top on a white truck.

Yes worth it. That price is a steal! I found one in my area for $500 and was going to do the same but it sold 2 hours after it was put up on Facebook. I got a $700 paint quote to color match. Get it while you can!

$350 is a killer deal on that, snarf it up! My boss has a red chevy with a silver cap and while its a little more extreme of a color diff than two grays like you mentioned, I think it looks neat. Breaks it up.
No photo of it, he hasnt brought it in to work all summer. Brings in his mazda puddle-jumper instead.

I found this one for $100 and it seems perfectly matched to me!

Until I found this one for $200 and it looks more perfectly matched to me so......

I have thought about painting both of them but I think I am over it now and actually every time anyone suggests that I should paint it I just feel better about the way it looks already?!?

Sounds like a great price. Get a paint quote and go for it or tape it up and rattle can it with black bed liner for a different look all together.

Picked it up Saturday morning. Might paint it later on but I kinda like the contrast and its growing on me. Good enough for now!

OHHHH I like that two-tone!! Subtle but very nice looking. And that's coming from a 33 year old chick, run that thing.
