When I accelerate and then stop right as you let off the brake and re apply , I hear a hissing ,scrapping type noise . I was thinking brake pads however they are new.
    Tires new/ mounted balanced.
    Still can’t confirm the location.
Was thinking dust shrouds maybe so I bent them back a hair on each wheel noticed no differences in the sound .
Was thinking maybe sticky a caliper ?
I really want to find out what this is as we all know , little noises on our trucks drive us crazy m I right ? Any input would be great please thank you all.

When you go stop and then drive off .
Once you’re above 20 mph you can’t hear it anymore

I think what may be happening is were brake pads slide back-and-forth in the caliber there may be dirt, grease and grime in the brake caliber. When you release the brakes, the brake pads aren’t fully retracting and are rubbing the rotor making the noise. Used a brass brush to clean it and applied a very small amount of caliper grease. Also the two slide pins may need to be cleaned with a Scotch Brite pad and a little lube as well. See my pic. good luck hope this helps.

New Noise with new pads and rotors? Or did not replace rotors?
My napa rear rotors hit the inner lip on the dust shield (no amount of pushing the outer plate will help stop the noise) made an awful noise until it rubbed that area off.
