Why would this mean anything for the Tundra?

These are not similar aside from both being Toyotas, are they?

Well it depends on whether (I don't know the pattern) the tundra or the LC are the one to get updates first but no matter what they are 100% tied at the ankles, hips and shoulders and guts, its the finer connecting points that make the diff...pun intended....so it could still come for tundra next year or not, but with the huge expense on new chassis and 'all new' everything else even toyota is really, really stretching the generations, albeit not as much as chevy with its 19 yr run on suburban from 73-91 - maybe they want to break that record!

The entire line was supposed to get a refresh. The LC is even older than the tundra. For $85k it would be nice to see new tech. It’s getting harder and harder to look seriously at Lexus or Toyota without a refresh as we are in the market.

LC is due for a refresh post new release of the 2022 Tundra. Word on the street is the new LC will be smaller, cheaper, and geared more towards being more offroad capable then luxurious.
