Hi my truck has no reverse. Ok heres the deal. I replaced the pressure control solenoid it cost me $200.00. I refilled the 5 Quarts that the pan holds with Amsoil Synthetic. Before replacing this solenoid I got codes saying that solenoid D And B are bad. I replaced Solenoid D which was the pressure control solenoid. I now no longer get the codes. They have actually come on twice but before theyd come on ever half hour. So now I have no reverse. This started not long after I got the codes for the transmission.i did find a little pin inside trasmission I think that is where it came from because I had the oil pan sitting on my tailgate and when cleaning up found the pin in the snow next to where the pan had been sitting so I'm thinking when I wiped the old oil out it got stuck to the paper towel and that's where it came from. So no reverse! When I put it in reverse before the truck would just roll but now it just sits there but won't rool but won't back up! Could it be the torque converter by any chance? Could it be another Solenoid? I will list all of the codes I've gotten and erased. Oh BTW it would always flash 4Lo when the codes came on too. So codes I got today first day driving after I replaced this stuff: P0977 red code Fault. P0705 GREEN CODE Pending Fault. P0705-powertrain Trasmission Range Sensor circuit Malfunction (PRNDL Input) Red code. Which means current fault. P0756 green code Shift solenoid B Performance or stuck off. P2714 Pressure control Solenoid D Performance or stuck off.

Picture of pin with object of known size (coin) for reference. Maybe someone else who's done similar work will recognize whether it belongs in the transmission or not. Attached is the procedure for checking the transmission fluid level, they're kinda sensitive to that.

LOL, it's kind of tricky to know what size the object is, but maybe someone will recognize it.

Opening the thermostat for the transmission cooler will allow the fluid in the entire system (including the cooler) to get to the prescribed temperature that is needed to get the level set correctly.
