So many of you have asked to see my Nitto Ridge Grapplers installed. Here they are. I put them on Fuel Assault wheels. So far I like them. Made my speedo show 5mph slower though.

Yes I did the body mount chop. Couldn't have been happier with the guy that did it in Kansas City.

Here is the info on my combo:

    Wheels
    Fuel Assault
    20x10 Gloss Black
    -18 offset

    Tires
    Nitto Ridge Grappler

Very nice! Looks like the perfect set up. I'm looking to do the same to mine (15 platinum) curious: how much "hacking did you have to do? So you said you have the 3/2 set up? Any spacers? Think I may add some pocket glares if I do this...did ride quality increase/decrease or stay the same?

Thanks man. It's actually a 3/2. I like the rake in it so I kept the same ratio.

Here is the video showing how to cut/mod the front of the wheel well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ATMgXK08lY
Most guys just take a heat gun, get it soft and push it back a little.

For the rear, you'll be cutting the body mount. Here is a good write up on a 2012. http://www.off-road.com/trucks-4x4/project/fixing-tire-rub-from-large-offroad-tires-53862.html

I agree that you need fender flares. With these grapplers, they have a "feature" that ejects rocks when they get stuck in the tread. Horrible for the concrete jungles out there.

I can't really tell with the ride quality. I put these suckers on after owning the truck a week! And like I said in my original post, this set up makes my speedo 5mph slower at highway speeds. So you'll need to have it recalibrated so that your speedo is accurate and also your fuel tools on the dash.

How do you like the ready lift kit and how are they holding up? Thanks!

Hey @916tundra , I'll be honest. I put that kit on the first week I ever owned the truck. I really don't know any different. So far I haven't had any issues.

The tires and wheels are holding up extremely well. Longest trip I've taken with them is from KC to Tulsa. The only issue I have, and probably one we all have with aftermarket wheels, is keeping them clean. They get so much grime on them that it's hard to keep them clean. I really wish they made a product that I could spray on the wheel, let sit, and then power wash off and they look like new. Too time consuming sitting on a bucket and scrubbing every angle of each wheel. First world problems I know. :)

@KCTundra I will be doing the same setup except for the tires. Did you end up putting on fender flares? I will be adding the pocket rivet style fender flares.

Get the Wheel Woolies for cleaning the rims. Makes cleaning them a breeze. I have the pack with the 3 different sizes.

Get the ez big detail brush on Amazon. Makes cleaning wheels very easy. You can bend the brush if you need to. Use this with meguiars super degreaser at a 4:1 ratio with 4parts water 1 part degreaser.

    None so far :)
What kind of set up you have? I’m new here hi everyone...! My truck is stock right now but I’m planning to upgrade it this month with wheels and tires... flares as well but I’m having a great deal of trouble trying to get the right offset... I’m doing fuel vapor 20x9 with the ridge grappler 305/55R20and want the tires to come out of the flare edge just a little... what offset should I get

I just replied to the other post. This is my old truck that you see. It was a 2013. I have a 2020 now, but same setup.

    First your tundy looks nice,

I have the nitto’s too, I hate them. But I’m all stock wheels and all. Look mean as hell but road driving a little sway going around corners or if you hit water puddles it wants to trough you. My opinion there Jeep tires.

on my 19 I have falken wildpeak at3w in the beginning I hated them too but after 1,000 mile loved them. Went through a snowstorm we had in 2020 no problems and road smooth.
