So calling some places for quotes no one really uses nitro and they actually compared the Nitro to the G2s are the Yukons any good why choose Nitro over Yukons?

I have ran Nitro and Yukon. Currently beat the living hell out of some Yukon’s in my crawler at the moment.

    Others I have used:

    US Gear
    Precision Gear

    nitros are good gears.

Yukon’s are still getting the shit beat out of them.

I've received two quotes recently to put 5.29s in my truck. One shop uses Nitro, the other uses Yukon. Price difference between the two is minimal. Which way would you lean?

Edit: I've watched that vid in your sig probably 50 times and it's still crazy to me lol. I do not anticipate driving up vertical surfaces in my truck ;)

Wouldn't matter to me and like ColoradoTJ, I've run most of them.

I have yet to see any ring and pinion gears that are not 8620 steel with a carburized heat treatment. 8620 is very easy to machine and carburizing is a very typical process.

In my opinion, you should be fine with either gear set as both seem to be reputable companies.
