Bare with me guys... I will get this all typed up in about a hour since there was some interest... first the machine I use.

    524da887eacaab4097b3d4fd87979319_95960e13285926a7ecff3d7da28eda39f1a753f7.jpg

    Ok guys and girls..

since there was alot of i like i would upload and share this..

Machine i use is a flashforge.. YES is it from china but they are WORKHORSES. It uses about half if not more of the makerbot machines parts. Motherboard and motors even firmware tho i use sailfish firmware works perfect. As i type this it has about almost 2600 hours from printing on the machine... This has duel extruders so i can print two different colors on one print or more.. depends on me.

This machine has been heavy modded by me and i have added some safety into it also.. Keep from burning down the HOUSE... Other board i belong too one guy said i should be a power engineer.

All the light blue you see is made by the machine and it glows in the DARK..

Red on top also glows in the dark..

Lights have been added one mod.

Glass build plate yes tempered glass mod two. . to hold the 110 c temps. yes thats c ( we use the metric)

Tunnel filment moniter mod three so you stop the print in case you run out of plastic and screw the print.

SSR 40 amp dc/dc mod four.. this is to take the pressure of the motherboard make it last longer.

Pid in the orange box mod five .. thats a fail safe on temp.

Now the problem with running ssr is that when they fail they fail bad and leave the power ON.. When the power is left on guess what you can stop it only by removing the power.. Pid is a fail safe when a temp of 119 c is hit it blows the main fuse killing the machine.

Orange box on the back of the machine raspberry pi 2 mod six... this is the heart of the machine. this guy also does web cam and also remote and email when print is done i also can watch it... I use the astroprint. :)

Mod seven redid the power supply for bigger fans.

Very cool Mike , but I don't see the flux capacitor mod. This build is going to be very popular indeed.

Design is only half the fun.. Mod someones design to fit what you need a print.. Printing itself can be a challenge just it itself.

Like the one above thats about 55 hours of printing plus.

Alot more you guys get the idea.

If you want to get into 3d printing its kind of cheap but it can be a big pain in the ass..

Btw Welcome to my side business. Cheers.

None of the prints you have seen have gone thru a acetone bath. Its raw state off the printer. acetone bath smooths out the lines but i have been unable to find a bath big enough for some pieces i do. they do get big.

I'm thinking you could probably sell quite a few of those Toyota key fobs. They are cool.

    Just alittle warm...

Don't worry it's really about 500 degrees at the extruders.

Let me look into that. See how I can strengthen (infill) it up to be a shifter. Engineering is needed here.

For that it would a nylon plastic used.
