Another 2-3 years for a new Tundra? Damn

I hope the Supra is super light with 335 hp.

    Thanks for the update.

These days 335hp isn't impressive at all so I hope you're right and that it's going to be super light. Or maybe they won't market it as the "Supra" as it once was and actually keep it affordable.

After diesel gate I suspect a lot of Oem will be shying away from the diesels if they don’t already have one that’s tried and proven in the line up until they can really figure out the ratio of good gas mileage, power and low emissions. But thanks to diesel gate I have a tundra. Went from 47mpg to some miles per gallon. My best in my 18 has been 19mpgs. Lots of cruise control helps.

I have mixed feeling about the new Supra/BMW Z4. Why cant Toyota make their own Supras? :annoyed::frusty: I guessed I shouldn't care 'cause I won't be able to afford one anyway.

The only talk about Car Play is that is is Apple is starting to appear now on all redesign models, so we've got it on the Avalon, the upcoming Corolla Hatch and Rav4 will offer it. Thus leaving us to believe it'll be on all upcoming models per change over. Android Auto is also "coming soon" as the lawyers are in "final" talks with whatever user consents Toyota wanted changed, but things move super slow so that could still mean in a while.

Entune will be offering new apps, they think by the end of this year, so that eco system may continue to grow. Scout GPS now offers Canadians the ability to use USA Maps and it should be also available now visa versa, or soon will as the updates are beginning to go out.

Entune won't go away until the other systems are both fully implemented and users show little use of Entune apps. That being said, "Entune" also encompasses the SOS system, so it's not only the apps on the screen, which are quite lacking imo.

Ok. Guess ill play. I love my tundra but here is 2 reason

    1. More towing capacity - 5th wheel or big camper
    2. Consistent power - not that sluggish feeling going up a hill with a load and having to floor it.

That being said ain’t goinf out to buy a diesel on any other brand just because but if toyota comes out with one i’d be all over it.

    1) not going to happen in a 1/2 ton. In fact, all the “other” 1/2 ton diesels have lower payload/towing capacities.

    2) totally can relate.
