After many months of looking I finally found a ‘05 cc 4x4 that had under 200k, wasn’t a rust bucket and didn’t cost north of 10k.
Everything works about perfectly...it lived its life in SC and was used mostly around a farm or to get lumber ect. It had 175k on it, the inside looked to never been cleaned and the paint was garbage on the roof and hood. Other than that not a speck of rust anywhere and mechanically solid. It did need timing belt/ water pump which I had done before I took it to FL.
Next thing on the list is a leveling kit and wheels. Maybe a cool bumper and winch. Hopefully a camper shell (impossible to find) and finally a paint job! This is my question to everybody...stay with the original gold/champagne or the new desert tan Toyota has? I know that if I change color I’m not gonna drop big coin to get door jams and stuff done. But I thought that the desert tan wouldn’t be a glaring contrast that would rly stick out unless closely looking. Anyway thoughts? Oh yeah I’ll only use the truck to get around town, drive on the beach and hunting.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! My personal preference is to stick with the OEM color.

Where is N FL are you? I'm just across the line from Pensacola in Spanish Fort, AL. There is at least one other guy from Spanish fort here, too.
