    Hey fellas,

Thinking about adding these to the Christmas list.

    http://www.vleds.com/shop-products/v6-triton/amber/v6-triton-kit-a.html

New Tundra DRL/Turn Signal LEDs, amber. No cutting required. Add in a "hyperflash fix" for like 20 bucks. Seems pretty sweet.

I know nearly nothing about lighting, other than I want to sport my amber DRLs nice in bright in the sea of LED light strips on the roads these days.

    Thoughts?

I've had nothing but good luck with VLEDS. I've had the V3 amber in the front and the V3 red in the back for over a year. I've got a set of V6's on order and if I'm impressed enough I'll pick up a set for the back.

Hyper flash is what happens when you switch from incandescent bulbs to led. Led take way less current to light up. If you don’t put in a “hyperflash” fix aka a 6ohm resister your turn signal will blink rapidly. The resistor burns off the extra current as heat hence the reason for the heat sinks or fins on the outside.

Similar to when you see the guy in front of you turning, and his rear blinker is flashing at double the speed of everyone else... you know his front blinker bulb is dead, reducing the load, causing the rear to blink faster.

How bright am I going to be with these things? I want distinct bright - not annoying/blinding during the day amber DRL bright.
