Hey all, I just bought a new to me 2008 Tundra Limited Double Cab with 44,000 miles on it last week. Went to leave the dealer and went into limp mode because of the air induction system pump and or valves. Already thinking about bypassing them so it's not an issue in the future. So just waiting on getting it back hopefully this week sometime depending on my work schedule. Looking through the forum for things to do in the near future.
    Thanks, Kevin

Welcome from CO. So far my AIP's haven't crapped out. Dealer should get you squared away ASAP. I believe there is no AIP part shortage anymore.

Thanks, I just started searching for toyota trucks on auto trader and cars.com. I thought this was too good to be true. Carfax proved it was all true. So I jumped on it and got it for a good price.

    I've got a 1992 Xtra cab pickup that only has 153,000 miles on it. 2008 Highlander with 112,000 miles"the wife's ".
Traded 2003 4runner v8 with 173,000. Figured we needed at least one in the driveway with less than 100,000 miles on it.

HaHa, you read my mind. I was just looking at superchargers, headers and exhaust for fun. Maybe someday.

I don't think it is flex fuel, motor code 3UR-FE which from my understanding is not flex fuel. I'm just starting to do research on the whole thing as I sit in the hotel waiting to get called for work.

I have 2 kids and wife so that's where most of my money goes, so this could be a very very slow build. I live in north central Ohio now and I grew up in southern Ohio near WV, I miss the scenery there. Especially in the fall.

Haha, I grew up near Marshall University and fall semester was awesome. The seasons are great too. LOL
I'd love to travel out west for vacation someday.
