    Hello all,
I have tried to search for what I'm looking for, and among the pinned posts, but have not found it yet.

Is the Platinum CrewMax stock lifted or leveled? I have a buddy who has had a Tundra longer than I, and he says mine is lifted. But, I have no idea if that is correct.

Here are some pictures, any thoughts would be appreciated. Bought Platinum stock, added the bull bar and canopy. Considering a level kit and fender flares, eventually bigger tires.IMG_20190808_105832_027.jpg 20190721_102704.jpg 20190721_102654.jpg 20190721_102714.jpg

Longer list than the wife needs to know about....
looks like someone added either a spacer or coil over in the front. Hard to tell from your pic, take another of the front shock and we can probably tell you what it is.

To answer your question, no the factory Platinum does not come with an upgraded suspension.

As far as I know only the TRD pro has a taller factory ride height.
The platinum has nothing special done to it by the factory.
I suppose depending on the region your in there could be a distributer doing some mods like that. It would have said so on your window sticker if they had.
Tundra's IMO generally do set pretty much level, at least when compared to any other 1/2 ton truck on the market which all seem to have substantially more rake to them then the Tundra.
I would say no you do not likely have any sort of lift or level kit. However the truck seems to be setting pretty level, could be the weight of the topper and items in the bed that attribute to canceling out any rake you may have had to start with.

Wow, you guys are great! Thank you for the warm welcomes and the tips.
I was able to take a couple of pictures of the front shock and have placed them below. I have to admit my ignorance though, when you ask about leafs (leaves?), do you mean Leaf Springs in the rear? I didn't see that post until after my break, I'll have to get pics later. But, to my untrained eye, I didn't see any blocks in the back. Again, untrained eye.

Upon close inspection, it does look like a revtek coil...

Again, you guys are amazing. Thank you for the info.

I looked, and did not see a block, is the AAL a brand? Would it be on the spring? I'd like to check it out. The current ride is actually really smooth, that's why I didn't think it was lifted.

It does look leveled to me, so I may go ahead and try to move forward with bigger tires.

Oh dang, measuring to the hub is a great idea. Thanks! I really hope it is already leveled, save a little money on the aftermarket stuff.

So, all of you were correct, there is a block on the rear leaf springs, so it seems likely that is already leveled. Has anyone had the situation where the dealership didn't tell you that this sort of thing was done?

If purchased used, probably not. A majority of the time, in my experience, I've known way more about the truck than the dealership, salesperson, etc.
If purchased new it would definitely be on the "Dealer Add-On" with a premium surcharge.

As others mentioned, your truck is not stock height. Someone, presumably the dealership, made those modifications. You also have TRD Off-road wheels(18”). Platinums from the factory never came with this configuration - they came with 20” wheels. At this point I’d check if you really even have a Platinum and not just a fancy badge on the side.

Edit after looking at the pics more closely the front grill, surround and painted bumper caps would suggest it is a true platinum.

Yeah, it's a Platinum, it's got the stock cooled seats, with the quilted leather, with the JBL stereo.

I bought it used, so they must not have known about the lift. I was able to negotiate it to seven k under Blue Book.
