New to Toyota

    New to the Tundras from Ford Diesels (6.0 and 6.7s). My wife convinced me to buy a Tundra to step out of the diesel maintenance and the kids loved the roomy backseat. Looking forward to some trouble free and routine maintenance only miles for the next few years. Just bought a 2015 Crewmax SR5 2WD with 75k miles on it and ready to let the fun begin.
    First order of business was install wireless Apple CarPlay (Sony With Maestro) and a bed cover to have some lockable storage (older Bakflip G2). Next order of business is folding power mirror conversion and some floor mats. Let me know y’alls suggestions. I have instrument and electrical background and will be installing Techstream to program some remotes for my wife’s Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, my truck (all in one keys), and a new ECM for my daughter’s 2006 Toyota Matrix. I figured it was best to get the program and modem just like I used Forscan for my Ford’s. Thanks for the add.

    Welcome! I always wished Toyota would have made a 3/4 ton diesel Tundra, but alas they did not. So I will live with gas engines in exchange for world class reliability and quality! Enjoy that new Tundra!
